The pillarmen should've been speaking ancient regional languages though. Also part 3 Dio prided homself on not being a tourist so probably should've spoken arabic. Giorno was raised in Italy so should've spoken Italian. Similar to how part 3 Jonathan is treated as American.

I think Giorno’s first language would be Japanese since his mother remarried when he was 6 or something. But by now his nationality would naturally become Italian. He also literally referred to Naples as his “hometown” at least once in the canon
