Lol, i breathed hours through old east filters (i am eastgerman) and even my school got asbestos walls so this is really funny for me
VERY cool channel. Can you do something on childrens gas masks too? I found MIRA because they have stuff for small children but after watching this....well... Do you know of any alternatives? What do you think about the CM-6 (229 bucks where i am but available for around 100 in CZ?)?

What size was this mask? It looked a bit large on your face.
@zzwk24 All three masks have the correct sizes, and if you mean the GSR, it looks bigger than it actually is.
The only unfortunate thing is if you don't keep it in a moist environment, then it'll break via ripping on the rubber.
@Thee_Saturn That's a good point I'll mention in future videos. Because I also think if you stretch the rubber way too many times, at some point, it will break.
I had similar issues with CM-8M Gas Mask, the drinking straw is way too short also the nose cup put alot of pressure on the bridge of my nose. I did inform MIRA about these issues and sent me another mask but still had same issues. Hopping the C21 Gas mask is better till then I have relied on my CM-6M mask.
@jonnboy Thank you for your valuable feedback! Many CM-8M owners complain about the same issues, so at this point, it's clear to everyone that MIRA Safety blatantly lied about us not having the current version of the mask.

Can the 40 mm voice diaphragm be used with other masks or should it only be used with this one?
@gwydionrusso3206 Tried it on the C50 respirator, and it works like a charm. Whether it's a simple port plug or the removable voice diaphragm, they all share the same thread.

The thing I like about these masks is not only the cheapness but with a sturdy gas mask adapter i will work with both NATO and GOST filters and while it might cause something bad down the line in terms of health I’d rather die in 20 years from complications caused by the gas mask than die from smoke and dust in 24 hours or less great video I got a lot of great info out of this thanks and stay safe

I think it’s not to protect humans But it’s to grate the cheese and protect the cheese from cbrn threats 😂 Hey but we do have a second cheese grater so now it’s the Mac Pro (the computer cheese grater+ being a really expensive cheese grater) And the cm-7m (the cbrn cheese grater)
And from what I've seen, this mask protects primarily advertisement money of guntubers that shill them. 🤑

@notarussianspy762 A full fall off the truck kit on eBay is about $1000 and includes the $400 VPU, filter, Sun outserts, hood and a Dupont Chemtek chem suit.

Can you do a review on a Chinese MF-14? The newer version allegedly takes NATO filters.
I have three Chinese industrial gas masks ready for testing and I don't even know their names. I bought each one for around 17 cents (not kidding) so I don't think I'm willing to spend more than 5 bucks on another one.

You're in luck, the review is planned for March. There's nothing inherently wrong with the CM-6M, apart from misleading marketing and exaggerated claims when it comes to certain "tactical" capabilities of it.

i wish that this gas mask wasnt advertised as mira cause I knew they were czech made i just didnt look into it and wish i did then i wouldnt of bought the mira scam
Yeah, they should be very clear about their white-labeling practices, as it's the core of their business.
