You can get rid of chromatic aberrations (purple shift) via image-processing software or by placing black, paper cut-outs with a center hole in/on the end of the lens. A lot of work, but good results can be had. Instead of this one, however, I'm gonna get the 500-1000mm cheapie because it has an adjustable f/stop and gets sharp images right out of the box.

Whats the lens on the camera?

I bought the same lens. Great video btw. I always use a remote shutter release with my tripod. It really helps the sharpness. Anyway my two cents.

I have a Mega Pro and the fans aren’t too loud yet. I’ve had it for 2 years but just now playing with it lol. It does sometimes make a super high pitched sound that hurts my ears. I did a quick firmware update which helped a little bit. I literally heard the pitch change when it restarted lol. I’m sure eventually they will die and I’ll have to do this as well. I like the power supply upgrade. What filament did you use on the power supply case?

Does seem like poor airflow... thank you for the review. I wonder why they couldn't use a moles/Sata power connection for the front buttons instead of the 24pin

Horrible demonstration.... very difficult to follow.... hands moving all over the place. Not ever sure what some of the buttons or light signals do. At least become proficient with the use of the mic system before doing a demo. Seriously..... disappointed!

I will be going thru the same process soon. I naught a used one that glass was cracked. And the replacement I got had that cable cut off! So I need a new one

For my 5D (not Mark x) I had to run vm with WinXP, install drivers from official Canon website from the link in this video and then copy a portable version of EOS utility v 2.11.4. But the author name is changed successfully. Thanks a lot!

When I downloaded the software, the Utility looks different and doesn't give me the options you have. I've tried Utility 2 and 3.

the hotend cooling fan, if you can't get a noctua thats showed in the video (the NF-A4x10 FLX) you can get a Sunon fan ( 40x40x10 size) , its not as quiet but it has a bit better airflow and costs like a third of what the noctua costs.. also comes with just 2 wires, just need to put the plug on it.. so easier install. honestly have no complaints i had to replace the hotend fan because it died

Hello, it's been a while since You made this video, but I am watching just right now and I really thank You about it. I have a ruined 18-55mm first generation kit lens, the glasses look pretty good so I'll follow your steps for having a second chance for this old lens, and take some macro shots.

8:52, yeah a flaw in execution of assembly or maybe they messed up in the mounting of the bottom plate threaded inserts, they were supposed to be on the oppositie side, but the obvious was to do the same or invert all the threaded insert and tapped holes and feet. I opted to do the logical thing, same as you while loosing the 2 center screw attachements. I stumbled upon this assembly flaw later on in the game, while replacing bad capacitors on 4 of my I3 Megas PSU that came with poor components, and something I had to do because Anycubic was very uncooperative in replacinging them after having agreed that they would send me replacement ones. The short black capacitors on the original power supplies are the culprits for hot end temperature fluctuation issues. When the caps on the input side of the PS loose their tolerance, the DC voltage drops considerably to a point you can no longer adjust them via the DC volt adjust pot. Mine were between 10-11V DC, Max pot. After replacing them with newer better capacitors the voltage range increased to near 15VDC (Max pot) and was able to set the output voltage to 12.5VDC using the same pot adjust, whcih is more desireable for consitent hot end thermal settings readings. I have had no issues with the I3s other than these things and as I always have said, the architecture of the I3 Mega with its clean touch sensitive screen and great part printing qualities, provided it is properly calibrated, is the best in its price range of all machines out there. NO NEED TO REPLACE THE FAN UNLESS IT IS BUSTED OR GETS REALLY LOUD ANNOYING Instead of replacing the fan with a larger one, no need to, unless you are looking for quieter fan , for me that has not been an issue and I am willing to accept a ceretin level of fan noise, I keep my machines in a dedicated room not my linging room or bedroom so I have no issues with noise, if this is the case, what needs to be done is simply raise the base of the machine higher so that more air flows under it and gets to the stock fans and and minimizes premature part component device failure issues.

Well that's strange yours came with batteries . Amazon usually don't tell you that stuff. Cards and batteries don't come with their products.

Finished this on my A5S today. I reused the original stepper and it works great! I did need to recalibrate my extruder, but I am tickled with the result!

Does it record on to the other peice with nothing attached and then do you attach it later to something to bring it up?
