Putting together your own external hard drive
External hard drives are a great way to back up and store your data. Instead of spending more money buying external hard drives from companies like Seagate and Western Digital, you can buy a case and a hard drive separately and assemble one yourself for much cheaper.

Skull Candy Hesh Headphones Review

Here is a review of the Skullcandy Hesh headphones.
Subbed I like you jokes everything now ten years later in the future is all serious and offended NO chill
I plan to use mine on pedestrian mode, just tunnel vision on the GPS and walking into traffic. I trust the GPS to keep me safe.
Neato, thanks. I was lookin at the microsd slot thinking it was some weird serial port. I got one for free, with the plastic still on the screen so I figure it's worth trying to figure out. I thought it was ancient, and it is a bit out of date. If it has a microsd it can't be that old. Score. I don't have that cute lil stand for it though. U-turn on the freeway, LOL. Whatever works.
Mine don't have USA maps only Canadian so it's kind of useless
I just bought 2 on eBay. One for $6.70 inc shipping and one for $10.67 inc shipping. Both work perfectly. My original unit cost $189.00 when they first came out.
that model is total crap. It has plastic fastners on the board that become brittle and crack. I had two of them go out on me within three years because the brittle plastic circuit board clips literally dissolved into dust and left the ribbon cable with no way to stay on the board. Engineered failure. Stay away from Garmin, they are pieces of shit that are made to not last a minute beyond it's warranty. As to the "done" button, it's a huge failure on all Garmins. Another engineered fail. If that stops working, you have to replace the gps.
Thank you for taking the time to make thus video. It is useful!

i know this is old, but why are you touching the screen like it's an iphone? It's a resistive screen, you have to use your nail or stylus to make the screen work. and everybody knows your home address now. what a douchebag.
enjoyed these 2 videos. You've likely upgraded by now,but for others...regarding the sensitivity of the touchscreen -- tap with the tip of a fingernail, instead of the soft fingertip.
Shanon, Try the following and it should work for you. 1. Turn the GPS on 2. Select the Configuration menu (wrench icon) 3. Select SYSTEM 4. Select the ABOUT option where you will see the GPS ID number If this does not work, let me know at Shannontweed1972@gmail.com
where can i find the Unit ID number?
can i replace the software to a papago software
Hi Buster. Thanks for the review. Owners Manual can be found and downloaded from Garmin's website. Good Luck.
i am about to buy one for 30 bucks. is it worth that nowadays?
can it play music
man thank you very much.that question was poking at me.lol
nope you don't need to have internet connection. just turn the unit on, let it receive the satellite signal, and you're good to go :D
i was wondering.does it need internet connection to work?
Great review. I just picked one of these up. I don't know if it's the same model though
Hello there, have you tried "Photo SFXart Tricks" (search on Google for it)? There you will find a great free video featuring how you can make amazing pictures. This made it possible for Joe to create photographs which leave you with a wow-effect while you look at them. It may help you out as well.
it actually adds to the excitement if youre buying the item =))
It's the worst satnav I ever bought.... If anyone in london want one for free you might find it on the A1 London!!!
Yeah bcuz most gps are resistive touchscreens that are not meant for finger tapping. It needs stylus to work properly..
umm can anyone tell why instead of "Where to?" it says Fortcom on mine???
Maybe different language?
no there is no headphone jack, but you can buy the units that has bluetooth and you can pair your headset to it
Recalibrate your screen
does it come with lifetime map updates???
Voice does not work. not sure why... voice is turned up and mute is off... any idea?
hey man, my garmin will not speak. Tried everything, and I am not sure what I am doing wrong... it is not muted and volume is turned all the way up... can you help me?
no this model does not have the bluetooth option.
can you pair your bluetooth with this? Im confused. It's not in the tool's settings..
Nice GPS but I suggest you not buy used anymore. You're pressing those buttons multiple times for them to work. Thanks for the info tho.
yes
Does it have "Lane assist"?
@busterbdragon That little hole is a microphone. it's used when you connect your phone via bluetooth. I have the 1490.
@aerral no, it has a built in antenna to receive signal from the satellites
do you need internet like 3g or somthing like that...... like in gps cellphone
Nice job thanks for the info
"That what she said"
