This is one of the greatest scenes in all of opera and must surely be the greatest scene for solo tenor. I'm not sure what I think of Lucia's "ghost" in this scene.

Esta técnica de cantar hacia atrás le quita madera ,timbre pasta a la voz.esquillo... Es flotante el sonido .si... Pero no hay timbre...😒

I had tickets to see Villazon and Netrebko in this performance, but after Villazon had his blowout the week or so before Beczala was brought in to replace him. And he did a magnificent job. The sound in the house was beautiful.

Wunderlich und Gedda sind für mich sehr große Interpreten mit wunderbarer Stimmfarbe und Musikalität. Piotr hat in der Stimme "Belcanto" und das zweigestrichene "C" am Schluss war in sehr gutem Punkt, sagen wir in unserer Sängersprache. Piotr ist für mich ein Sänger mit sehr großer musikalischer Intelligenz. Kurz gesagt, er ist im einundzwanzigsten Jahrhundert nach der Zeit von Jan Kiepura eine Erscheinung. L.G. Janusz Marciniak
