so i bought this and admittedly it stayed in the box the first year. Took it out of the box, fired it up and was surging and running crapily immediately. After very few hours, oil was silver. Took it in for warranty work... Tractor Supply. The held onto it for some time and gave it back... ran it very few hours since and have silver oil again. Basically, this thing was a near complete waste of time and money IMO. I'm very disappointed in Cub Cadet and that engine was basically junk from the git. Tractor Supply prob changed the oil and sent it back to me.

I wish I had not bought my Countyline 25-ton splitter, but it's too late now and I guess I'm stuck with it. I HATE the design of the beam that the wedge slides on. My old splitter (a 40-year-old Yard Machine) had a beam with a simple flat surface, easy to wipe off and keep clean. The new Countyline has a (whatever you call it) groove that the wedge rides in -- a perfect trap to catch wood chips and splinters that needss constant cleaning (I finally had to set up my air compressor next to it so as to blow everything clean several times a work session.) Today I actually got a fat wood chip crammed in beside the wedge and had to get my pry bar to free it. Stupid stupid design.

I actually also have a setup called the gutter viper that you hook up to a leaf blower and use the extension pole to blow out the gutter. It works alright for dry leaves. My problem is I have a large sycamore tree next to my house that drops a ton of junk year round and it was difficult to blow everything out. The water does make a mess but I prefer water over air personally.

I've had this setup for several years and it works very well. Waiting for a warm/hot day is best as you will get wet and dirty. The addition of the vest allows for the extended wand to connect and relieves the strain on your back and arms. It's like holding onto a very long fishing pole. A good workout, but a great feeling when completed. Thanks for the video.
