I see you are using a Vevor Torque converter. Do you know if the jackshaft is metric or standard? Is the key in the driven 5mm or 3/16"? I want a 5/8" jackshaft. The last TC I got was advertised as 5/8" but had a 16mm jackshaft with a 5mm keyway.

Good run i just messed up my crank for my duromax 208 trying to get the key out it infused into the keyway from using the wrong flathead i guess idk its all banged up now i have to find a replacement crank any suggestions to a replacement i put 22lbs springs with gov removed fully even the gear on the crank but thats destroyed so i cant for the life of me find a crank with the key out of it lmao these engines 😅😅😅 im not gonna let them get my soul never used a tc i get 50 on my ducar 212 with gov removed 60 rear sprocket and a 14tooth max torque oh yeah and a taller front wheel i believe that will give u a better roll time less gassin im trying to build this 208 to expand the life on my ducar been running it for 3years amsoil dominator oil i change it very frequently everything else all stock vm22 17.5 pilot 38main and with a grom silencer it actually made it faster i guess with the back pressure happy testing tho love the content as its all i have to do this duromax not many vids on them

whats the bore size?? i have a gt18 that uses the same trans but i cant find anything on the bore size sense the transaxle pulley is completely fallen apart i need to replace it

Try drilling a few holes in the gas cap so the billet rod for the 208 is a 3.003 or 3.008

You are overthinking it. You could use the Ducar piston, be .007" in the hole and use a .018" head gasket, or use the Amazon piston with a 9 or .010" gasket. Both would have .025" piston to head clearance. The weight of the piston isn't going to make a big difference but is something to consider if you are going for 8K plus RPM. The dished piston isn't worth using when you have flattops in hand. Have you measured stroke? 208's are nothing more than a big bore clone. 70mm bore with a 54mm stroke.

That's interesting about the belt shift. I never knew that it may not shift all the way to OD like that. Guys with Juggernauts shouldn't have that. Once belt shifted they still have around 1.4:1 gear reduction.

Sounds like your mini bikes got quite a bit of speed thank you for the video

First. If you start out wanting to limit RPM to right at 5K it can be done with the governor and stock linkage. The governor spring just needs repositioned to the hole at the end of the governor arm. Then adjust the throttle screw for 5K RPM. I ran one of my 196's for years that way. In my opinion the stock rod should be fine running to 5800 RPM for a few seconds. Especially when the engine is always ran with clean oil. None of my OHV engines have ever ran with black oil. All three of my minibike engines have an ARC rod. When I build my theme is going for better than stock without going for stupid power. The 252 Rattlesnake cam fits that theme well. I used it in my 224 build. Seems like a good economy cam. Are you making changes as you go along to see the gains? I would recommend getting rid of the stock carb for a slide carb. If you are on a budget the VM22 clone kits are $30 on amazon. You will see a difference on the drag strip. Those carbs even work well on a stock engine with a header pipe.

What would the 440 be like on a mini accidently someone gifted me a engine and they picked the 440 was post to be thee 208 😅 should i send it back or is it worth running while i build my ducar or just get the 208 ?? Its for a stretched Vox frame

love this start to finish process of yours, step by step. I wanted to suggest you make sure your rear brake isn't draggin too much or that you ride the brake at all, which will slow you down. I noticed on one run you almost tapped the brake before the 1/8th, might be a sub-conscience thing? love the progress as well in every vid. I see you still have the stock carb, no plans to run a slide? most pick up a good bit doin that.

I really expected your top end mph to go UP with the 60t, thats always been my case. Maybe try a 54t-56t just to hit that magical 50 mph benchmark. Then comes 60 mph................................................ and I agree NR racin are great people to deal with.

i run mine at full load and 3600 rpm all the time. So the 35 is stock you think adding 44 would be better?
