Come along as I explore the beauty, history, and culture of Türkiye on the Absolute Turkey trip with G Adventures! From the bustling streets of Istanbul to the ancient ruins of Ephesus and the surreal landscapes of Cappadocia, this journey offers a complete look at Türkiye’s diverse attractions.
We start with an Istanbul Walking Tour, exploring the Spice Bazaar, the Grand Bazaar, the iconic Hagia Sophia, and the majestic Blue Mosque. After cruising the Bosphorus, we visit the Mausoleum of Atatürk and the surreal Tuz Golu salt lake.
Next, it’s off to Cappadocia, where we soar over the unique landscape in a Hot Air Balloon Ride and visit the incredible Derinkuyu Underground City, Uchisar Castle, and the Göreme Open-Air Museum. We experience Turkish culture at a traditional Turkish Night Show and visit Chez Galip Pottery Studio. A hike through Loop Göreme showcases the region’s natural beauty.
Continuing the adventure, we explore the Melvana Museum, visit the ancient site of Catalhoyuk, and stop at St. Nicholas Church. In the coastal town of Kaş, we explore the Antiphellus Hellenistic Theatre and the sunken ruins of Kekova.
Our trip concludes with visits to Hierapolis and Pamukkale, a Selçuk Cooking Class, Ayasuluk Castle, the charming Şirince Village, and the ancient city of Ephesus. We end with a carpet demonstration in Bergama, a meaningful visit to the Çöp(m)adam social enterprise, a stop at the legendary city of Troy, and a ferry to the Gallipoli Battlefields for a guided tour.
