Steppers Division

เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 6 ก.พ. 2019
Steppers Division is an international Soul Rock band from Berlin and London.
With their blasting rhythmically infused beats and soulful melodies they effortlessly blend Western
pop sensibilities with more traditional African influences, uplifting all who listen to them.
The band was started four years ago by reggae bass player Marc Sipeky (SK), who had grown
disillusioned by the corporate music industry and the over-saturation of electronic sounds, instead
he wanted to create an act that really focused on the live element.
The tail end of 2022 has seen the release of Steppers Divisions’ first single ‘Shine On Me'. This
seductive rocky, soulful ballad is sure to captivate and inspire all who are lucky enough to hear
it. From Berlin, Germany to London, England.... this is Steppers Division; ready and poised to
emphatically march forth into the musical fray and if you are lucky enough to seem the live
don’t hesitate to step in line with their joyful momentum.

Where to get all the audio files ? Nice video by the way ✨
Olá qual versão do LogicProX você está usando ?
pls do a video on how you plug dem
hey there, thanks for the comment! there is actually a little video series on our channel where we explain the settings in more detail.. the first video is called 'Dub Mixing Tutorial [DAW Settings]' cheers
the synth caused poltergeist activity in the background at 3:47 !!!
Badass !!!
😮😮😮😮
Er labert nur, natürlich habt ihr damit gezeigt, wie Dub geht, in einfacher Version! Liebe es einfach! ❤️❤️❤️
Danke! Macht weiter so! ❤️
OMgosh! I was planning to buy a Moog Sub 37 this month until I heard this just now! Incredible. Thank you for saving me money!
Welcome Too Ghost Host Theater WBFF
Why were you wearing a mask standing in a room by yourself?!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👎🏽
just for fun, the video was shot the first days of the pandemic that time
@@SteppersDivision don’t let them down press you. This music is to revolt against the Babylon system oppressing us worldwide.
Your accent is not helping, but thanks
I did not know my D has touch control ?
Hello 🤗 My mixer only have one Aux, ..can i connect the pedals in series and use the switches to engage them and use the aux dial for the amount 🙏🙏❤️ Love cheers
thank you
Hermosísima canción melodía y voz !!!
promo sm 😄
So this is how dubstep came from. Over the years dubstep starts to ad so many effects and heavily proceesed the synth sound or bass to make something robotic or deep
great!
where can we buys this equipment?
You didn't even explain the connections properly. I know how to do this, but many people will not understand that it's all about having individual tracks on separate channels, use the aux sends to go to the effects and then return to an empty channel. The daw/interface is completely irrelevant unless that's all you have.
hey there, thanks for the comment. yes, we were not explaining it in this video, there are another videos on our channel explaining the topic in more detail... this video is just a quick one
Man… great demos, all the types of sounds I love and am curious about regarding the Poly D. Thanks!
Steppers Division, Thank You, MUCH Appreciation. I copied your set up with the Eurorack mixer, the Scafrlette 18i20 and EFX pedals x5. After hours of studying your video/s and noodling around with my mixer, Logic, Focusrite and settings, I've finally figured it out. I'm looking forward to making my own DUBS and sharing with like minded Astronauts in different Galaxies. Thanks agin for all your videos...
Sounds amazing❤
hey there, thanks for the comment! yea it sounds huge, right? we are also very impressed by the qualities of the Poly D. its full analog btw
I really learned a lot from this. I won't ever Dub but it's cool to see where this style comes from. Thank you for one of the best production qualities I've ever seen on TH-cam.
Wonderful, thank you for elucidating
That 1st fx chain sounds pretty awesome 😄
Quite good chorus 😄
So what are you using the linesplitter for here? :)
Do the efx return go into an insert or input on each channel depending on how many efx I’m running?
Man, this is sounding great!
Hey there, thanks for the comment! yes it sound absolutely crazy good. Full analog synth sound. It's really massive
Building quality? Oscillator tune? Or do you have problem?
Hey Alice, how u doing? Thanks for the question. Build quality is great. It's very heavy. The knobs feel very nice. Had no problems with it so far. Oscillators need to be tuned before playing, but can get some GREAT bass tones if you play with the tuning though.
@@SteppersDivision thanks ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I have as well, and absolutely love it. It's a keeper.
Great Video! 👍 Can you play Darude - Samdstorm ?
Hey Simon, thanks for the comment! Yeah, we can try :D
This is Great. I was so inspired by your video that I purchased exact same equipment, received all except interface, arriving soon. I will be purchasing Logic Pro as well and have a newer Mac air book. I've also purchased a Logic Pro book, arriving soon.. Few questions, can I run another output to amp/speakers from mixer or interface...? and what is needed to have interface work with Logic Pro/Computer..? Not sure there's any easy answer, but any tips will help. Thank You...
This is not how to make DUB music, this is a video of a guy tweaking fader channels, with no explanation of how to setup feedback loops, AUX out to channel IN's, instead of AUX returns, etc..
This is how to make Dub, easy Version!
Nice nice wangu
Find deine Einführung und deinen Dub extremst geil, vielen Dank dafür! Sehr, sehr geil! 😊❤
Super gerne! Wir danken dir für deinen Support! Best Regards aus der UK
@@SteppersDivision Wir haben zu danken für diese wunderbare Musik, Best Regards to the UK from Germany. 🙂👍👍❤️❤️
Great video, very instructive, thanks for sharing your knowledge!
hey there, thanks for your comment and your appreciation, it means a lot!
Thanks brother this is golden information 👌 subscribed
thank you so much for your support! our pleasure
hey thanks for this video. Question, if i have a 10 output interface, would i have to sacrifice 2 outputs for studio monitors? or can i use a separate interface for the studio monitors? any help would be great, from anyone, im using ableton.
hey there, thanks for the comment! You can use the mixer headphone output for monitoring and the mixer L-R output to send it to some sort of PA, or studio monitors
dude! thanks so much! ill post my set up when i get it all together! ONE LOVE !@@SteppersDivision
@@austinll89 our pleasure! yes please, very curious to see your setup. btw we got some other dub tutorials on our channel, for sure u can find some useful information bless
yes, i am the one whose watched them 60 times each in the past 3 days LOL@@SteppersDivision
Haha, very much appreciate that!! We hope u could take away something useful
🔥🔥🔥
🙌🙌🙌
This or the EHX Mod 11? Massive price difference, I know. Lol
This is the kind of demo I like. Cracks me up when people are moaning about it being plastic because they're too stupid to not hammer their stuff. Maybe if you drop it exactly right on a knob you might break something. Some things I would have liked to hear in this demo would have been to hear the delay and pitch shifter. Also, it would have been a step above everybody else' demo if it was recorded stereo out so we can hear what the chorus does in stereo. It would have been head and shoulders above all other demo if you plugged in both outputs from a stereo keyboard and recorded it from both stereo outputs. Do you know if it sums both stereo inputs to mono if you have 2 inputs and only one output or does it just ignore one input? I also really wonder what it does if you plug a guitar and a bass into it at the same time and run the stereo outputs into a PA. Thanks for the demo!
Do you use an specific order to place Pedal effects in the chain? Do you assign an axul channel for each effect?
hey there, thanks for your question! basically just messing around in every possible effect combination and everything is creating different, but always great craziness :D in my experience Dub Music is pretty much about messing around all the time and having fun! Because basically u never know whats gonna happen. sometimes its also fun to add effects on your channels in the DAW before its sent out to the mixer... So when it arrives in the analog mixer its already modulated. You can map these digi aux channels to a midi controller as well, so u got even more options to mess around
assigning... well it depends what u wanna achieve e.g. u can use 1 Aux channel for 1 effect.. another one for a chain but the Aux return signals is good to assign to separate faders. And even these faders u can Dub... Basically creating aux feedback loops and get totally crazy there is a video on our channel called 'Learn Dub Mixing in 5 Minutes' there u can find all basics explained and then combining and combining forever. Have fun! Best regards from the UK
Really Nice! 🙌🙌🙌🙌😊😊😊
hey there, thank you very much for your comment! appreciate🔥
How the tracks are separated before going through the mixer?
That was wicked thanks for showing us how to dub it
Hey Robert, how u doing? Thanks for the comment and thanks for your appreciation! It means a lot🔥
Thanks for this, great Dub ! Real good bass sound ! I'm wondering about the fact you didn't use any reamp box for the send out of your soundcard to the mixer. No trouble with this ?
Hey there, thanks for the comment and for your question. Yes true, we been not using a reamp box... Obviously the pedals are not getting the necessery signal in order to operate to the fullest, but it was working very good for this demonstration.
@@SteppersDivision Thanks for the answer. This question of reamp is a big problem for me because I want to get out of the Box, but if I need 6 Reamp Bax, 160 euros per unit, for 6 different chanel it will be Very expensive ! Do you know any cheaper solution ?
I just ordered the x2222usb. I hope it can do this without an additional interface
Hey there, thanks for the comment! Unfortunately we dont got experiences with hybrid mixers, i hope it worked out? would be very curious, would love to hear how it went!
Without the Focusrite or similar, you'll only be able to send the Master channel of your DAW to the hardware mixer. But you could do all of the above in a DAW with something like the Novation Launch Control XL for hands-on fun
