He is an actual god in that he is immortal and a god. From what I'm aware, all gods are "little g gods" as he is from a polytheistic pantheon. If I'm not mistaken

​@drewroberts3174 ik it's kinda lazy but I always thought of it as since he wasn't born a God, he became one. In his older age it just takes more concentration to channel that inner strength, especially since he's been living pretty quietly with Atreus and even before that with Faye?

See, I like the thought that he's just intentionally holding back because he doesn't care to be a god anymore

I imagine that with Kratos' strength he could take that bad boy down in a single swing
