Thank you! But I tried to use more FH than BH in this match, because it's easier to continue attacking and looping with FH than BH))
Qué buen partido! Al principio parecía que iba a ser más difícil, pero empezó a fallar, se vió perdiendo y tú ganaste confianza 👏🏻 se echan de menos tus comentarios 🤠 magnífico revés como siempre

Backhand smooth as butter…I applaud your‘mercy’ as well. Subtle…
yeah I dont see much sense in 11-0-ing someone whom I have spent hours of training with)) actually in general too...unless it's a world champ match of course where every point counts and it's just too risky to throw a winning opportunity)
the girl is well trained and has good foundation
Its amazing she loops with pips. But your bh and fh attack are just far better. BTW, is this in LYTTC club? what tournament is it?
Thanks! Yeah Lily yip u2200 June; she was 2197 or something like that that day with peak rating 2200+
Nice video! What’s the kids ratings btw.
he's been in the 1800-1850 range so far, havent broken 1900 yet as of writing this. I like his technique form and footwork; I think he's lacking a bit of understanding of spin game as of now to go 1900+
Your backhand is wicked!
thank you! yeah I think 4-5 days a week I can count on my bh more than my fh. I've lost my fh for some time, hopefully it comes back soon! when my fh is on, it's more powerful and dangerous than bh, but the game is such that mostly this is the case for most people and thus people at tend to send the balls to their opponents' BHs, but I can attack from that side with a high degree of consistency too.
why you look so chad
Must be the lighting !
I remember playing her a lot back in 2020-2021. Used to be able to beat her, but she surpassed me right in front of my eyes, and now I stand no chance. Time flies!
from what i see there seems to be a desync on your fh for your stroke mechanics. It looks like youre leading with your upper body instead of your lower body so it doesnt let you get the rotation on the ball when doing your forehand on most times when you missed and went long. Its hard to explain in words but if you slowthe video down you can see your torso is rotating before your legs.
@@masterflamewing234 great observation! The last two matches in that tourney I barely could stand and play - before this 1/2 final I had played 7 matches that day and 6 matches on previous day (winning u2100). I just tried to survive basically 😄 I’d like to believe the legs-body sync is a little better when I’m fresh, but yeah you’re absolutely right

@@chyngyzdavletov214Thank you!
yes. .. short pips chops incoming to you will have less back spin if chopped.... if i was your coach, i would say aim 1/2 net lower when those shots come into you... tough 3rd game ! your bh flips drives were strong.. impressed with your fh too !
@@phamster18 great advice thanks! I can’t remember if those were short or medium pips though…it was so long ago! I’m leaning towards them being medium pips, judging by the fact she is “looping” with them as opposed to flat hitting, which is why many put short pips on their forehand sides; with short pips those “loops” are very rare. In general I find short pips easier to play against as there is less variety in terms of the incoming ball compared to medium pips. Long pips are also more predictable for me, so it is the medium pips that I’m struggling the most I feel like
@@chyngyzdavletov214 if medium pips... i agree.. very difficult to play against... and i never serve side spin when i face long pips player... i aways keep the spin north and south ! hahaha....
@@phamster18 yes that’s my strategy as well! Just keeping it simple ))
Didn’t want it to go under appreciated - but some of the pushes here were really good!!
Yeah great observation as this often gets overlooked
You win because the kids FH is bad. He miss more than you do and he is more aggressive(more chance to use FH). If he fix his FH you won't win against him.
Thanks for the comment! Feedback taken! But whether or not he beats me with his fixed FH - remains to be seen. The game is not static, if he changes something (like fixing fh) I will adapt and come up with some counter strategy. I used what was working and if I feel he makes mistakes, I’ll let him be aggressive and make mistakes. Also, his fh looked very solid in his previous matches, he beat some good players to reach semi-finals, so I’m taking some credit for the fact that his FH suddenly became bad in a match with me - “you can only play as good as your opponent lets you”
The kid’s bh is even worse… He had a lot of chances to smash with bh but he didn’t. I don’t think the kid would win even after he fixed the FH. He had no chance…
@@explorery6691 yeah it's common that people tend to have stronger FHs than BHs. his BH is quite solid in a rally though; where it lacks is opening against the pushes I felt. So yeah that gave me a bit more "safety" to just push back to his BH when I wasnt ready to attack and then wait for better opportunity...Also, we played earlier that day and it was a comfortable 3-0 victory for me, so there was certainly some psychological advantage on my side in the 2nd match. He did change some things since the first match and gave a much better fight in just couple hours later which is great.
I'm a 2200 player, the moment i saw how you lose your point at 0:40 ~ 0:46 i know you are going to lose. No one plays like that unless you are 2300~2400+. Your shot selection is very wacky. You are more interested in playing a beautiful shot than actually winning the point. When you look at how Aria handle similar shot, she will loop it spinny, safe and placement than those haymakers you attempt. Post your analysis in TTD thread and some members will help you out. TH-cam is hard because you don't know the credentials of the people giving you tips. My guess you are around 19xx in bay area.
A very important thing to note as well is that you need to remember and train lowering your center of gravity. From what I saw, most of the time you were almost completely upright and that made it more difficult to move in general and also limited the amount of power you could potentially output. It's a problem that affects lots of people, me included, and I'm actively working on it to improve my base stance and general agility! Also remember that it's not just lowering your hips like if you were just sitting, but more like sticking your butt out and lowering your back, so that the center of gravity is properly aligned and you can get as much mobility as possible. Great match and nice try!
@@Jekuruu yeah fully agreed. I’m on a taller side so for me it’s more challenging to sit lower during points. I’m doing 1-and-1 fh drill every session for the last ~6 weeks and it slowly starts to show in my recent matches, as I’m suddenly able to throw in more loops per point than before. It’ll take more time I guess to get fully integrated into my game (also it’s not clear what the extent of that “fully” is). Obviously we want to be as good as we can, but there are limitations as to what one can objectively reach at this age 😄
@@chyngyzdavletov214 I see! Well you keep working hard and results will come! Keep at it champ!
@@Jekuruu will try my best sir! 👍
Do the screaming after each point affects mentally?
@@vagav it’s an individual thing; for me every scream lets energy out which can be very powerful boost; but I can’t do it constantly so I try to find the right moment when it matters most - sometimes I succeed sometimes I don’t. And when it doesn’t work it can backfire because you just gave some amount of energy out for nothing .
@@chyngyzdavletov214 Oh I meant your opponent screaming!
@@vagav for him it’s helpful I guess; for me it doesn’t matter whether my opponent is screaming or not, I try to focus on the actual point and when it comes to my opponent - only on their actual actions in terms of strategy, shot selection, positioning etc

Un partido muy reñido pero conseguiste darle la vuelta! Cambiar el modo de juego a medio partido me parece muy difícil. Enhorabuena!👏🏻
yes, very intense game...especially first two sets. The ability to change the game depends on the number of strategies you can implement and how wide is your shots selection. it's useful to practice all sorts of different shots and strategies during practice games and matches played "for fun". I feel that it is very important to enjoy the game too!
@@chyngyzdavletov214 you made some top spin serves that got that kid confused, gj!

I like the captions during the game. Very useful for laymen like myself
come on I still remember your shots...they're fire!
You don't change your shakehand grip much to serve. Is that something you always had as part of your game
interesting observation! you're right, I dont change it much when serving backhand serve or fh hook/tomahawk-like variations serves. But when serving traditional pendulum and reverse-pendulum, I am holding the racket with 3 fingers - index and thumb on the rubber surface and middle finger along the blade's handle. Depending on who I'm facing and what racket I'm playing with, I might use certain serves more than others on that day.
