Hey man, long time no see! How are you? Don't worry, I managed to get stuck somewhere I literally could not get out of whilst OOBing the other day. Had to go to orbit 😅 Anyway, wait until you see the cool stuff I found in the nord avalon quest. Making a guide but just been having a little break while the dust settles with the recent goings on at Bungie.

​@@SpookeeCattit must be a terrible experience for new lights. After coming back to D2 this year, I made a new hunter and warlock and played through it. Just awfully disjointed. Dark forest still exists etc and most stuff took place on edz and the farm. Why they couldn't keep the red war stuff I dunno. It was a great intro. Complete loss of power and slowly getting it back.

I know. DaVinci doesn't recognise the audio from webm so been changing the container to mkv and changing the audio encoder too. I should just switch to mp4 recording on the PS5 since I'm not really using 4k. Edit: I did originally plan to do everything in 4k but did not know that it only applies when you manually start recording on Ps5. I also thought somehow it would still be in HDR and that TH-cam just took forever to process. I'd appreciate any tips you might have though. You strike me as some who knows what they're talking about.

I mean, I could try. As mentioned in other comments and after talking with people in r/raidsecrets I genuinely think it's a bug stemming from use of the Heavy Ammo Finder mod. This is the first time I've witnessed it to happen and I can't see much use for it especially in raids when banners exist and also when you can regenerate heavy ammo more efficiently with a sword. But who knows? Perhaps there is an unforeseen benefit as can often turn out with random bugs! Edit: or you can have the fireteam run 2 heavy ammo scout mods and a finder.

Are you sure it was a Finder brick though? (they glow a lot more). Obviously it's perfectly normal to drop heavy in pvp if you are carrying it. Or do you mean your friend dropped it after killing him and he wasn't carrying any?

@@madbeef. no. I had it clipped though I lost the footage since its on a different device. nobody had picked up heavy and he dropped a glowing brick. It does not have a distance counter like normal bricks.

Yeah, I'm just finding out all these extra quirks! Never had it happen myself but this is the first time I've noticed an ammo brick drop from myself.

This is still PS5 dude! All my vids are. I just edit on PC. However, yes it does run D2 like the proverbial s*** off a warm greased shovel 😅 I'll probably do content for both platforms.

One of my favorite things about doing these lost sectors is finding a loadout that works but mostly having fun with ones that DID NOT work HA HA! Ya know how you bring in weapons you are pretty sure are gonna work and then they end up terrible and you have to start over. Nothing like bringing a weapon you loved from a year ago into something and finding out how much it sucks compared to the new weapons. Nostalgia is always what it is HA HA

There's some easter eggs (kinda) for veterans in the intro 😊 glad you're enjoying the vids. I do a few runs, try and see where the absolute safest places to stand are. Then get a clean run I'm happy with and just watch it whilst narrating. Then I'll go though and see if I think I need to add any text for clarification on some points. Hopefully my videos can help your friend. Or maybe you can even take them through and give pointers.

@@angryhawaiian4541 the only way to find out is to try! My advice, make what you enjoy. Find 'your' audience. People will respond to passion. I don't want to make what I think will get quick views or please the 'algorithm'. I make stuff that I think will genuinely help people and that I enjoy doing. Otherwise it becomes just more work. Nobody needs a 473rd "what xur is selling" vid. So do what you enjoy man. If you're happy with it, s'all that matters. Let me know if you do and I'll watch and sub 👍

Seeing and knowing when you are about to get your arse handed to you so that you know to back off is a key thing

@@madbeef. I know I hear you state it through out the video. Always takes me a few runs to get the flawless part. Mostly I'm trying to speed through it. It causes me to die a few times learning the spawn locations. It's okay to do that as long as it's early in the lost sector HA HA

It's still worth completing if you die with revives. You get to learn more of the later bits. Speaking of dying earlier though, I was trying to get a good run on extraction but I'd been ill and only managed to get on an hour before daily reset. Finally had a great run, got to boss room, notification flashed that new lost sector was available (so reset had gone) killed lightbearer wizard, went in to clear all adds and just as I was about to open the chest, heard the wizard revive. Forgot to crush the damn ghost. Killed me. There goes Flawless. Couldn't try again because of reset 😅

😂 I give you plenty of credit for keeping certain things in 👏 Nice tip with the grapple. Absolute nightmare in that room!

Well if it isn't my favourite Hawaiian 😁 how are you? I think a lot of people are in the same boat of having had their friends from D1 gradually drift away. So certain content is out unless they LFG which has a terrible rep. That leaves them in love with Destiny but with solo as the only choice. Then some people have anxiety or social issues with the same result. And then some people just love a solo challenge but don't have the reflexes of a God. I'm a bit of all three 😅

Definitely getting some beef jokes today 😅 Yeah I was surprised by that fusion. I guess only one or two of the spread haven't to land to stagger. Probably doesn't do any damages though.

​@@madbeef. Well there was a lot of Cows mentioned in the filming...😂 The damage doesn't matter, if your getting the stun. Stunning is making the unstop vulnerable, therefore your damage output is increased. So, definitely worth while.

Thanks man! Just for reference that thing is the Destiny equivalent of a Beheaded Kamikaze from Serious Sam. Instant death. Must have bugged out. I was attempting this on the highest difficulty without dying once.

Yeah, it's even more ridiculous with the lucky pants! 😁 I prefer wish ender for Sepulcher though. Being able to see through walls for the room with two unstoppable ogres and the lightbearer is a massive help. That's going slow and steady though. Some speedrunners on PC are just mental!

​@madbeef. Yea I've gotten really efficient at that lost sector. I found there's a rock where the little bugs ignore you and you can just destroy the 3rd pop. But you have to do some dodging on it though.

You should get a video up of one of your best runs.
