Just booked CTS > DFW business class last night in mid-September '25 for 75k via Alaska Air miles. Haven't found anything going to Tokyo from either JFK or DFW yet but will check periodically.

Tried on BA, only economy and Premium Econ available using 91,000 avios for premium plus $463. no first or business class showing at all

The technique is called "married segments ". It'd be more helpful if you had explained WHY married segments work but direct route doesn't.

Recently flew this business class product and I must say that it's the best one I've ever flown. Amazing food (and so much of it too), comfortable seat, just great. Also very clever trick with finding that "secret" availability. Good stuff Mark!

I guess there's a JetBlue marketing program going on. There are about 200 new TH-cam videos that are basically Mint advertisements largely funded by the airline. I don't care, though this vlogger has a great narrative voice.

SO many youtube channels that allow youtube creators to fly all compliments of their cash flow from these Videos. If you would of told someone back in the day that one could fly for free by making videos of one flying, they would of all thought you were crazy.

If you have a specific date and location for travel. What tool do you recommend to find the best price?

I just flew their inaugural service to/from Long Island (video on my channel!), but they used an A320 so no Mint Class at all. But great service nonetheless!

I had the best Flight Attendant in the world on an Emirates long haul flight in first class. Her name is Leila Gallego, and she is from Argentina. I’m a former flight attendant with two airlines so I know what the job entails. She is simply the best FA that I ever had on any airline!!!

I'm doing a LAX to Tokyo, March 2025. 12 hours in Polaris. I'm looking forward to the Polaris lounge at LAX. I can't see people being shoehorned in Economy for 12 hours. I haven't boarded a flight, on stairs, since 1983. I wonder how clean those headphones are? PS. I'll check out your Japan trip video.

The food is not that good, Mark's presentation is great, he miss nothing. I'll Polaris next time.

I also had the same flight JFK-Mexico, I paid all that full fare money, but at the last time they replaced the airplane with a dangerous ugly Boing MAX, so they ripped me off because the configuration had small seats, I was wondering if that was the first class, how are those people in tourist class. I really couldn't tell the difference between that First "Premiere" class and a tourist class seat. Ripped off.
