Missile Command was way too difficult. For me Galaga was easy. Once you know the patterns of the aliens you could just play all day with one quarter.

A rare one I loved was Fantasy. Anyone remember that? Also my other jams were Crystal Castles with the track ball controller, 360 the skateboard game and it had all these bugs in it so you could like jump into these weird dimensions and make a bunch of points and nothing could get you! Another one I also liked that had a track ball was Tempest. And Dragon’s Lair.

I'll never forget the first time I cheated at a videogame... the game was Rick Dangerous 2, a friend had just made a copy for my Amiga 500 and I couldn't wait to get home from school and play it. So as soon as I get home I stick the disk in and a trainer screen comes up prompting me on unlimited lives, unlimited time, invulnerability, etc.. I didn't know what I was doing so I just selected everything on the trainer and hit start. What followed was the most boring hour and a half of gaming I'd ever done as I destroyed the game on god mode. After I beat the game I shrugged and didn't think much of it until my friend asked me about what how I got on with Rick Dangerous 2. "I beat it", i told him. He was like "What?! Already?". "Yea. i beat it in like an hour" I calmly stated, not even realizing that this would be at all impressive. He was flabbergasted. Then as we chatted about the game I realized the trainer wasn't part of the original game and I had essentially ruined the play through for myself by unwittingly cheating. That was the first and last time I ever cheated at a videogame.

I heard Todd Rogers tried to let out a covert fart in the middle of this speech but botched it and immediately shit his pants.

Have people really not looked at some of the absolutely ridiculous and outlandish fake scores this guy had before he was banned from Twin Galaxies? Like he didn't even bother to study the games he faked scores for, some of his Atari 2600 scores would have required playing non stop for over 100+ hours. People have done the math and created tool assisted runs and found the vast majority of his scores are not even possible. It was just absurd compared to anything the legitimate competition was doing and I have no idea how he wasn't called out for fraud much earlier.

Always innovate, make the best pizza, aim for reliability, have a strong creative concept, think about the way something makes you feel, don't be greedy, don't penny pinch when it comes to cost of materials, don't worry about what's politically correct, surround yourself with talented creative people, and if you wanna be a beast, make sure you master the fundamentals first.

Todd Rogers is better than Billy Mitchell. Todd is a lot more articulate, a lot more likeable and interesting, and even a lot more respectful toward his critics and willing to have a civil conversation about the evidence of his cheating. At least, Todd has sometimes done this, in various interviews and in relation to some of the technical investigators. I think Todd tries, in some ways, to avoid needlessly increasing the amount of lies he tells. He defends himself in clever and careful ways, keeping the number of lies to a minimum, insofar as he can while still insisting he did not cheat (which is, of course, still a lie). By contrast, Billy lies about everything under the sun, often in truly bizarre and gratuitous ways that are not even required for his cover story! Moreover, Todd isn't a spoiled rich kid, like Billy is. Unfortunately, Todd is still a cheater and liar. And, as of recently, he is engaging in stupid lawsuits against his critics, much like Billy. That's a shame. Possibly, some speculate, Billy is the one who put Todd up to doing the lawsuit, to try to indirectly help Billy's own stupid and unjustifiable lawsuits (by challenging the critics of Todd's credibility, which may be important for Billy, since Todd is basically one of the main witnesses for Billy's defense-- so it is in Billy's interest to try to protect Todd's supposed credibility). What is it like to be Todd? What is it like to be Billy? It may be that Todd and Billy have devoted so much of their reputation and self-image to their bogus game scores, that they simply cannot psychologically afford to let it go. That sounds to me like a really sad way to live, day in and day out, for years and decades on end. It boggles my mind that some people live this way.

Fast forward to today and Billy's fraudulent video scores have been wiped, his frivolous lawsuits against anyone who opposes him have been thrown out and mocked, and that mortgage score has been debunked by recent photos showing a modded deck with an 8-way long piston. It really was "what you see is what you get" in King of Kong, and what you see with Billy is a narcissistic fraud who should've been forgotten a long time ago.

I hope Steve knows today that at that event where BM supposedly broke his record that it unequivocally was done on a modded deck! The controller was a long piston,small ball red 8 way joystick! Far different from a 4 way that Steve used. There are clear pictures from that even of the machine ,Todd and BM. He unequivocally never broke your record at anytime or anyplace!

We should be paying this man twice what he makes as a teacher to dedicate his life to DK. This is a guy we should all stand behind and help! I just wish i could’ve been there at fun stop to have his back and be a voice letting him know the obvious to us viewers! For us he’ll always be the first to reach a million and the true OG Live ,most honest,undisputed,highest DK score live and taped DK world champion. I have his back anytime anywhere forever and i only wish we ,or someone who had his back were there with him during these events.
