A quick and simple explanation of the difference in regular fill VS offset fill.
Shows how sometimes offset fill can save you lots of time but it's not always the right choice.

Temu $3 RC bulldozer, is it any good?
มุมมอง 8K9 หลายเดือนก่อน
I know Temu is a scam but for $3 I just had to see what I would actually receive. I don't know if I just got lucky or what but this bulldozer would be OK for a small child (7-10 years old) and seems like it would cost $25 at someplace like Walmart.

Leegol 6Lb. Pro rock tumbler VS Harbor Freight 6Lb. rock tumbler
มุมมอง 7Kปีที่แล้ว
I was disappointed at the Leegol I got from Amazon (multiple screws stripped and dents) and noticed it looks exactly like a Harbor Freight (Chicago Electric) one that is $30 less so I bought one and this is my comparison.

I ordered two different power banks. One from ebay that comes with batteries and the other one from Temu that doesn't. I'm putting it on ebike to power lights. The ebike battery I want one hundred percent of the battery life going towards the motor to get me home and not towards the lights.
Thanks for video sir
I’ve place 15 orders on Temu and every item has been excellent quality. I’m always impressed. So you’re way off base with your statements at the beginning.
Yeah I’ve bought some shirts that seem quite good for the price.
Very interesting! I've bought cheap guns before, need a new one, and was curious what the point of spending a bit extra on a nicer brand may be. This about answers that!
I heard that Harbor Freight isn't going to be making anymore tumblers! Thanks for sharing!
thank you!
Hello 🤗 good video

Any idea what scale this thing is?
Those harbor freight rocks tumblers are junk just got one 5 min after running burnt my finger in the motor junk junk
4" o rings work good for replacement belts.
I have two Harbor Freight rock tumblers and I have a box fan right next to the tumblers that keeps the motors cool as a cucumber!
Neat cheers
Thanks, this is great. I am new to engraving, and your advice helps a lot.
I did all of that. I went to bed expecting to wake up to the printer prompting me for the filament change but apparently my Klipper printer ignored the change filament G code? The part was printed in a single color.
I am not an expert in this but I believe the pause commands and such are built into Marlin and so it would be different for a Klipper based printer.
@@terrymakes3613 - I tried the PrusaSlicer Change Color and Pause commands and they seemed to work in PrusaSlicer but the Neptune 4 Pro printer doesn't even slow down, so I'm back to the old method of manually pausing the print to switch filament. Pause and Resume work well so this is a mere inconvenience. My custom Japanese mini truck mud flaps look great.
Owned my Harbor Freight Tumbler for years. Never had to change a belt. Not sure of your issues.
Hey man I had this same idea. I can't find your files for this anywhere. Is it still up?
It's on Printables. I can't post links here but the full title is Dremel drill press to heat set insert adapter
It's amazing for me . 3 dollars .am ordering 1 now. Thank you
You're my top G dude
Is borax toxic?
Yes, you don't want to ingest it (but then again water is toxic if taken in large enough quantities). Borax is most commonly used to aid in laundry washing and can be purchased alongside detergent (which is also toxic).
The sounds a bit annoying ae? Can you turn that off by chance? Or is that too advanced?
If you pay attention to the video, he answers this question and actually turns the sound off. Do you always watch half a video and comment or just don’t pay attention well?
@@Jackofallofem Only half of video cause the sound was annoying.
Typing as Paracordia-UK. A very helpful tuition video ..Thank you. I really like your workpiece lockdown pegs too. I need to find the file for them and make some myself as the ones I'm currently using are not ideal.
I downloaded one that did not work so I just changed the size until it fit my bed properly. But since then I moved to strong magnets and will never go back to the pegs.
I use an aluminium honeycombe, so unfortunately magnets are not an option for me. @@terrymakes3613
I need a machine
This is very typical of china's manufacturing industry. They will make unis for several companies in the same factory and at several quality levels some for the premium exports, premium domestic and the discount markets. Its more efficient and only requires a single tooling outfit. Much different from the sometimes multiple competing factories in the US and other western countries.
Learn to use your laser and you won't have to rely on these gimmicks.
Nice to know.
I like your videos, because you don't waste alot of time talking, you get to the point.
Great video, solved my problem of lining up smaller things to burn. Thanks
I like the idea. I have always just added a primitive shape (usually a rectangle) group it with model, offset that and then ungroup and delete. your way seems to require fewer steps.
Pure genius
I watched your video and you mentioned o ring belts Can you give me more information on the oaring belt to replace place?
Just search for them on Amazon, that's how I found them.
I've seen many variants of this method, and some of them cover the sides of the inside of the container with acetone-soaked towels too. I notice that you only have the towel at the top. Do find that there's any difference in effectiveness between the two methods?
3:10 Lead acid batteries aprox 1500mah.
I have a lot of Jewelers tools, and Vevor tools are identical to other much more Expensive brands. Now…having said THAT….I also have 4 pair of Vise Grips, made by 4 different companies….theyre virtually identical….one brand might be slightly more polished, but otherwise identical tools….so i have to surmise that all these tool brands have licensing agreements with multiple manufacturers. Its the same with most patents, these days….you can buy an Nvidia Graphics card, made by your choice of half a dozen manufactures . Very informative video. Thank you for posting 🙏
Would you consider borax food safe and use on something like a cutting board?
Borax itself is NOT food safe, that being said if you wash the cutting board after engraving there should not be any left as it either vaporized or washed off.
Borax is a suspect carcinogen. In Germany (possibly the whole EU, don’t know) sale to private citizens has been banned since 2009.
If you use less voltage and less salt do you get a milder lighter etch
Speed and power for the blue anodized tag
I don't remember exactly as that was 3 years ago. Also every laser is going to be different but if I were to try today I would start at 200/40 on my 60w CO2 laser.
This looks really good! Do you pulse a burn mark and then rotate the laser lines until they cross over the laser burn dot? I have seen some crosshairs that don't cross on the burn mark , rather run parallel to the laser head and the offset amount is measured and this measurement is added to the settings in Lightburn. Not sure which method would be the most accurate!
Yes, you pulse, then adjust the line lasers so they cross the dot left on the material.
thanks so much. Making mine now :)@@terrymakes3613
Its not a scam at all
Tell that to the hundreds of thousands that don't get exactly what they paid for. I have a cousin and was talking to her about it and she said she had good results, a week later she called me to say I was right, she ordered $50 worth of clothing and none of it was what she ordered and they were wrong sizes and much cheaper material (like they would tear just putting them on). She vowed then to stop shopping there.
It's cheap tho,
The toys and items are exactly just like Amazon's but cheaper
Of course a 5 dollar item isn't gonna be as good as a 100 dollar item
And I know, the clothes suck, but you still have to remember they are cheap items
not sure why but when I split my model in this way my printer doesnt pause to allow a fillament change at that layer, it just prints the whole thing (Sovol SV07), an ideas?
Not all printers have the command enables in Marlin, yours must be one of those. Sorry but enabling it is beyond my scope of knowledge but it can probably be done.
@@terrymakes3613 yeah all good, i think mine is doesnt have the code that prusa uses for filament change
3 bucks ??
I got the non-pro Leegol, and it is indistinguishable from the harbor freight model. Regarding the belt, the manual tells you to adjust the belt before the first run, which seems like a cop out, but following the instructions seems to fix most of the issues.
Nice wark
o problema que e pessoal mostra depois de feito e não explica como fazer esta mistura dos produtos e como passar na madeira e quanto tempo após a aplicação pode ser usado no laser
Just mix with water, spray on let dry (just so it's not wet anymore) and laser. Super simple.
