Hey, we would say it depends on which country you want to visit, Thailand or Vietnam. Personally we liked Halong Bay and the whole experience there way more than Khao Sok National Park but it's a different kind of trip. It's more expensive, you are on a cruise for one or two nights, where in Khao Sok you will be on smaller boats or stay overnight in the floating villages. There are a lot of shops of all kind in the old quarter. For the best souvenirs go near St. Joseph Cathedral towards the north, for local products etc is at dong xuan market, that whole area has shops dedicated to one specific product or service, very interesting to see! We feel you always have to bargain hard at markets and souvenir shops in Vietnam, most so in HMC. Grab can get you anywhere in the city and back to your hotel. Thank you for watching! 🙏

The public boat serves just as a taxi to different islands, but you can find several tours in Krabi to take you somewhere.
