Now rewatching clips from time to time...catching the YT videos by accident....i ask myself <...WHAT was I thinking??< . :)) Premise made NO SENSE at all Ateen boy from NJ with no KAarate training but a book and one YMCA class) goes to Southern California...a martial arts mecca as many of hte best masters have schools htere...boy get picked on by 5 Kobra kai black beltt/ournament champs....start beating up boy, janiotor shows up in-time...short tiny Japanese man....beats up the 5 BOYS...isn't arrested or ued by wealthy parents...etc. Boy (ARalph macchio) gets taught a crash course in Karate and in 3 months enters tournament and defeats the No.1 Kobra Kai teen...NONE can see Daniel-san has <whtie belt skill level<..... Could they not have found a Hllywood actor with actual Karate training? A black belt. Or use an actual champion?? Not like the role requires Oscar calibre acting ablity....heh.. Unreal. Moveis had <movie magic< ...that indescirbbable something....
