A fun and goofy video to inspire mushroom pickers for the upcoming 2020 morel season. We had almost no fires in Montana last year. There will be very little burn picking, as second and third year burns do not seem to produce up here. We do have naturals in the lowland forests, yellows in the riparian zones, and big blacks under Aspen forest. This will be a year to check more second year burns, and explore more river valleys. There is also a clip of morels growing next to cactus, a photo op I long searched for. Good luck in 2020 in all your foraging and food adventures.
