That's cool! Thanks for the tip. I'm going to try this on my older Corolla. Nice shop btw.
Awesome method. Reminds me a bit of the chemical wipes that cerakote uses to remove the oxidation.
Thank you for watching !
I mever wouldve thought! I actually walked outside to my old truck with faded lights, and took some paint thinner I had laying around the garage, and i was shocked that it actually worked. All the yellow got snatched out. Thanks for the tip!
Nice!!!!
Thank you for watching!
Good tutorial
Thank you for watching and supporting the channel!
great video brother
Thank you for watching!
My wife just got her first new car. I have never been much for aesthetic maintenance but wanted to learn. I maybe wash my truck once a year and the inside has never seen a vacuum. Just to illustrate my novice. Point is, I have already invested hours in detailing vids and yours are hands down THE most informative. From a real world perspective with real life advice. Most of the other channels I have watched are inevitably going to be trying to sell me something. Thank you for "keeping it real". Can't wait to try this out for a mid week maintenance wash.
Hey congrats on the new car, I really appreciate you taking the time to watch the channel! We have more content coming and if you want something specific talked about let us know. Thanks for watching!
Think you forgot to dunk that towel
The towel was dampened with the Rinseless Wash throughout the whole video. Thanks for watching!
Do you use distilled water for rinseless washing?
It's not necessary, but it also doesn't hurt to use it either. I've always used tap water with my Rinseless Wash without issues.
Dropping gems! Ever since I did that training with you guys back in December I’ve used rinsless wash in so many ways that I didn’t know about from before thanks
You are welcome!
Gloves on so no oil from your hands gets on, proceeds to put a towel on his forearm …
Great observation and attention to detail. For video demonstration it was easier to put it there than on a dirty surface on the car. Maybe a cart would've been helpful in this case. Thanks for viewing!
Man, I didn't notice this video and we both do the same steps with Rinseless on wheels and tires. I also use water-based tire shine and those customers that want the tires coated I use the Dura-Coating tire coating which lasts a year.
Nice !
Subbed! Our process is extremely similar. It’s pretty crazy how fast you can get through an interior with rinseless. For those sticky cup holders that are non-removable, try spraying some rinseless wash in it and let it sit for a few minutes. The rinseless dampened towel will wipe it up easily. I’m like you, always least aggressive measures first. Looking forward to more tips/tricks from you to add to my arsenal!
Thanks for the sub!
Definitely have to put the Hauk Tuah to it!
That spit shine does it every time 😆
Amazing tips!!! I need more videos like this so I’m subscribing
More to come!
That's right, those beauty brushes are not good for that👍🏼 I have been cleaning exteriors and interiors with Rinseless and makes all great, efficient, effective, and cost-effective. I have seen some detailers using APC just because and they end up pulling or erasing the white lettering on the inside of the vehicle
Rinseless Wash is the sauce when it comes to efficiency and being safe. Lots of TH-cam channels would make you think an APC is necessary on every vehicle to get it clean when it's not the case. And to make it worse most of them use that brush that belongs in the vanity drawer. Thank you so much for watching and commenting! 😁
Thank you for the tips save a lot time to my car wash auto detailing California
Happy to help!
Good job
Thank you for providing a great product line! All my staff loves it.
What’s with the Australian accent with the southern accent?
😂 it's just the way I talk
@@ocdetailingnc it’s cool lol, 😂 found it interesting. Keep up the good content
Thank you for watching and supporting the channel!
I have detailed for over 25 years and watched a ton of TH-cam detail videos. This video has so many amazing gold nuggets of information. The clear way you explain the detail process along with the amazing advise and tips is the best I have seen on TH-cam. How your channel does not have hundreds of thousands of subscribers blows my mind. If your a new detailer or even old like me lol watch every single video on this channel and take notes your will become a better detail 1000%. Appreciate you taking time out of your busy day to make these videos to help all lf us brother. Have a great weekend.
Thank you for your support! I recently started the channel. I figured it's time to give back to the industry that's changed my life. I'm happy to share my experiences and I hope it helps people. I have more content coming. What I want to share is likely controversial theories or unpopular opinion, but it's real world detailing and not the TH-cam entertainment detailing. Thank you for watching!
Fully agree 💯
Chris you give them a new tip Everytime wow
I love sharing my experiences! There's no need to "gate keep" information in this industry. I'll share all the secrets 🤐
That so cool
Thank you Tyler!
Great demo and explanations are great.Thx
Thank you for watching!
Thanks for the video! What are your recommended rinseless washes?
There are a lot of great ones. My favorites are American Detailer Garage Wipeout & Fuzion, and DIY Rinseless.
@@ocdetailingnc thank you! I enjoy those two as well. Maybe not Fuzion because I thought it was too soapy for my liking.
The windows are darkk af on that car lol. Great video!
5% on top of 20% 😎
nice overview and I like your technique of approaching top & sides for where to start and then proceeding with washing the vehicle. I will be trying rinseless soon for the first time!
Thank you! Everything should go well! Let us know if you have any questions.
Does the water based tire shine actually dry on its own or do you have to come back and knock it down with a microfiber towel?
The water-based dressings I've tried have all self-leveled and dried on their own.
@@ocdetailingnc thanks for the response!
I use a rubber wiper like from the gas stations on the outside glass which works beautifully, then I use 2 microfiber towels for the inside windows, one wet one dry. Spray a 50/50 mix of water and rubbing alcohol on the wet rag and wipe the inside windows, then follow behind with the dry rag. No streaks in day or night conditions.
This is a great method as well. For the video I used a dedicated glass cleaner, but the majority of the time I use Rinseless wash as my glass cleaner. I'll make a video about that very soon. The wet towel & dry towel is one of my favorite methods when cleaning glass outside.
Hey bud, i wonder what exactly u mean by that apc to just whipe it off? Doesnt you need to neutralize it with water? Thanks for your videos man
Great question! I'll assume that you understand the pH scale in terms of acid, alkaline, and neutral (if not I'm happy to explain). To neutralize an acid you need to post treat with an alkaline. Likewise, to neutralize an alkaline you need to post treat with an acid. This is a big discussion when it comes to stain treatments in car interiors, homes, and commercial use. Rinsing off either acid or alkaline cleaner with water doesn't neutralize the surface it was applied to. Instead, it dilutes it. In my method of using a soap-based alkaline cleaner I'm not creating damage or an adverse situation. This technique I learned from Billy with American Dealer Garage F-Bomb. You can still rinse the cleaner off if you want, but it's not necessarily needed with this type of product.
What process do you do to clean that towel after you take off all that tire dirt?
We have a washing machine in our shop to wash towels. This specific type of towel I'd wash separately from the rest. If they're really dirty, I'd throw them away or demote them to oil changes or some dirty job before trashing them
For those who are diy, with a vehicle that has perfect paint, would you say leave a car dirty or waterless wash? Maybe you cannot wash for 2 weeks for example and car is mildly dirty.
Personal preference. If the paint is truly perfect and or black, I'd say if you do use waterless, just spray plenty of solution and use the lift method with the microfiber.
I'll also note that Larry Kosilla over on the AMMO NYC channel has several great videos that answer your question in depth. If I can find them I'll link them here for you.
Love how you teach man and like you said you do this for a living. Appreciate you taking the time to show us all. I will continue to watch and support your channel.
Thanks for the support! We will keep delivering these videos.
is there anything that works to repel brake dust off wheels?
Nothing to our knowledge. The best thing to do in my experience is to ceramic coat them to make them easier to clean. Sometimes the type of brakes will cause excessive brake dust. What kind of car are you inquiring about?
solid vid man thanks
No problem 👍
I just subscribed. Thank you for the detailed explanation without promoting specific detailing products. Keep up the great work!
Awesome! Thank you!
8:41 haha wasn't expecting that 😂😂😂😂😂
I have an issue of spraying product onto the wheel and tire. Not knocking you in anyway! My concern as a lifelong automotive technician is, the spray is also getting onto the brake rotors and that's a NO-Go for me. You are the best detailer and PPF person I have seen on YT. Do you sell the CCC/PPF ? How can I contact you? Great video's. I am a subscriber
I don't think that some waterless wash getting on the brake rotors would affect them at all.
You can clean your wheels and tires without worry. In the almost 9 years I've been doing this I have been using acid, alkaline and neutral cleaners without causing damage. Thank you for the support ! We sell our CCC PPF contact us at chris@cccnextgen.com
After uploading the video I noticed I said "Rinseless" when I meant to say "waterless" in a few instances. Please excuse this error 🙏
No worries. The video is professional and informative. Thank you.
Chris how do you know so much
I don't know everything, but I'm happy to share what I've learned during my 9 year journey so far!
Good videos
Thank you for being our biggest fan!
Nice explanation on rinseless washing. Enjoying your channel and videos.
Glad you like them!
have you ever tried one of those cordless (battery powered) power washers? I've got from snowjoe that was like $30 (batteries are also very very cheap on ebay) and it's very efficient at distributing rinseless wash solution and even pre-rinsing some loose dirt before contact wash
I've never tried them
what's your favorite rinseless wash?
In this video we are using DIY Detail rinseless. Don't get caught up in the brand. Usually, they all work great!
@@ocdetailingnc thanks! yeah I've always used ONR and sometimes is tempting to try something else but ONR works absolutely fantastic and it's truly tried and true but I've definitely heard good things about DYI Rinseless as well
Do you sell that film ? Thanks!

Great info! curios why not use the legacy sponge ?
We prefer the microfiber over the sponge because we find the sponge lacks scrubbing power. We have sponges in our shop as well. Just personal preference.
How do u clean the dash gauges without scratching the plastic? Seems like the plastic they use scratches just by looking at it lol. And if it is scratched already how do you remove those scratches?
We will be dropping an interior video soon !
Sweet! Thanks for teaching us the DIY 😎
Any time!
Very well presented thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!
What chemical did you use on the tire?
That's a secret for another day
