Thank you! I like the music in this video, and in most cases, I thought it fit quite well, but I had to adjust sound levels after it was posted and delete the earlier version, so I lost some "Likes." I'm doing the best I can! The Drive Mode on my ERay is set to "My Mode," which is customizable, and I have that adjusted up to the loudest exhaust setting. It's actually much louder in person than is heard on the video.

Fun video. One lady should have been wearing a moo moo dress not a bikini…hard on my eyes.🤣🤣🤣

It's not as easy as it looks! My long video on the subject of setting the World Record for distance in Stealth Mode shows that's it's very easy to accidentally kick on the V8.

@@AWDCorvetteERay yeah it really is. You have to go slow and steady. But I do love it when the engine kicks in and you accelerate fast, it sounds amazing

How many miles you have left in a tank of gas is calculated and updated constantly based upon recent gas mileage, so I must have been driving conservatively around the time I filled the tank. When I made this video, the car wasn't broken in yet, so I was taking it easy.

ZR1... starting at $140k and optioned out, a bit over $200k? 1064HP!

Not every dealership rips people off. I bought my two Corvettes - including my very low-production 2024 ERay - for MSRP.

I used to drive a Civic, and before that a Ford that I bought for a case of beer. Those were the days!

Some dealers are greedy. The one in my video sells at MSRP.

I hope you'll make a video WHEN (not if) you do! If you search online, maybe you can find an event to participate in. I'd start by going to the websites of the tracks that are closest to you and also by contacting Corvette clubs in the area. Feel free to email me, if you want any help.

@@AWDCorvetteERay I think the closest track to me is about 1.5 hours away but I’m not sure. Maybe there are others and they don’t come up with in search results. Ok I will email you about finding corvette events in the area. Thanks!

@@AWDCorvetteERay btw have you gone to a car meet yet? There was a big one this morning and I was tempted to go but I backed out because I’m pretty shy and awkward sometimes

Pulling both shift paddles at the same time, disengages the clutches so you can rev the engine. Also, once you've pulled them both, you can let go of one paddle, and the transmission stays (essentially) in neutral until you let it go.

It was fun! Doing it in Manual is certainly something I'll try. With the all-wheel drive, I'm not sure how loose it'll get, though - unless I turn off traction control, etc. - and even then, I don't know. Certainly nothing like my RWD muscle cars back in the day. The two drive systems (V8 and electric motor) are engineered to work together to make the car very stable.

It really is beautiful, and we had great weather for the event that day!

That track is about an hour from me too. Hoping to go back and make a new video every year, at least!

@@Corvettebarbie Very fun! And, of course, I had the only ERay there. You should give it a try since you seem to have the "need for speed" like I do. LOL

@@AWDCorvetteERay lol yes sir. I’ll tell you how it goes. By the way, do you notice a lot of other aggressive drivers on the road with the eray? People constantly trying to race, tailgate, or cut you off if you’re driving the speed limit?

@@Corvettebarbie Yes, please let me know! Aggressive drivers... hmm, not really, but I'm not usually driving the speed limit either! LOL It's probably because of where you live (my guess). I saw an article that said NH has the lowest road rage of any state. I'm usually getting waves and people giving me a "thumbs up."

I had a blast! I'd like to go to the Corvette Owner's School once they get the ERay program set up. Not sure I can spend the money, though, for all that's involved. Maybe if I get to 1000 subscribers, I'll be able to convince myself that it's a good investment in the future of this channel. 😎

I agree... but... Many do want a FPC... not me, for a daily driver. I like the low growl of the LT2 V8 engine and that power curve

It was! My plan is to get the repairs done this winter when I'm not driving the car much anyway. I need it now to make videos and have some fun, so I don't want to let it go! The insurance company of the tractor trailer driver who rear-ended me has already given me the initial payment... more to follow if we get in there and see hidden damage.

It was a fun day! My next video will likely be me driving my Corvette ERay on the track (a much longer one than the Short I posted already).

I'm very happy with mine in Hypersonic Gray Metallic, and the Adrenaline Red interior really makes it pop - especially with the top down.

Yeah, it can be very handy for that. Also, if you want to move your ERay during winter storage without starting the V8 engine for just a minute (which is bad for it).

Thank you! The TH-cam Short that I just posted of me driving on a racetrack has a clip of the Power and Torque gauges for both drive systems. It's pretty cool, for sure!

I know what you mean... I invented a product that Harley Davidson copied and sold after I sent them my prototype. No compensation from them at all.

@@AWDCorvetteERay. As someone once advised me, “these people are playing for keeps!” Partially understood when it was said to me, these are clear examples where you need to seek advice of others as mistakes WILL be made. These folks just took the ball.

Exactly! There's a reason why car companies are notoriously difficult to establish and run profitably. There's a lot of moving parts... literally!

@@RexyTheGryphon No, it's not, and I'm not interested in an electric-only Corvette! The difference in gas mileage between and ERay and a Stingray (same V8 engine) is small because the ERay isn't made for extra fuel economy. The electric motor that drives the front wheels is there to provide better traction and a big burst of torque, and it does that very well.

It'll be handy for people who need to move their ERay around their driveway or garage during winter storage when they don't want to start the gas engine for only a minute (bad for the engine if you're not running it long enough to get it hot). There are other benefits of Shuttle Mode, but I'd say that's the main one.

Interesting! Obviously, you can see there's no such limitation on a C8 Corvette!
