We will evolve either into a federal type of government na may revolving monarchy or matitiwalag ang ilang parts ng Mindanao and palawan which means there might be civil war. Sadly we can only be united fully after a civil war kasi iba iba tayo at needed na iisa na ang mamuno sa taas or tatanggapin na ng lahat ang union natin just like the u.s. we can only look sa mga experiences ng ibang bansa bago sila nagkaroon ng national identity na maaring mangyari sa atin. Just like China was united by Emperor Chin and conquered by the Khans, and Japan with the shogunate and the emperor.

Already watched this movie yesterday. My wife and her sisters (6) watched Vilma Santos movie. According to them parang mas worth it na Kingdom na lang pinanood nila even before I told them how good Kingdom was. Anyway, Vic tried to play comedy at some point pero hardly noticed eh 😂.

Just like any monarchy, asian & west, possible na nagevolve in time ang parliament & laws kase parang the story setup e lahat ngevolve into modern influences pero naiwan yung traditional laws.baka more of ceremonial na lng at less hands on at nagdedesisyon ang monarchy, fhwy let people govern through parliament. possible din na naghiwahiwalay na self governing kingdoms ang Pinas kase yung archipelago napag isa lang naman dahil sa spanish colonization. Magkakaiba culture & traditions. Example muslims region will tend to have a sharia law as constitution, gaya sa nangyari sa india at Pakistan, naghiwalay ang islamic region & ngtagtayo ng sarili after ibigay ng British monarchy independence.

Mas malala at nakakapinsala ang "political dynasties" natin ngayon, kaysa sa monarchy. Mas malawakan ang nagagawang corruption at nakawan sa kaban ng bayan. Mas madaming idolong mga angkan ang sinasamba ang mga Pinoy ngayon. Kanya-kanyang mga kulto ang mga personalidad at mga pamilyang ito.

For sure this will not be box office. Di kasi relate ang most pinoys at kung walang extra budget movie lang ni vice ganda ang papanuorin kung they had to choos3. Ang pilipino ayaw magisip kahit may kakayahan. Kung sa 100m na pinoy for sure 20 m lang ang nagiisip and gusto mag isip so sad to say, even if this is a good movie, may mas kikita at mamamayagpag sa takilya. Real talk lang po

Thanks for the preview. Definitely would look out for the things you mentioned. The BTS of this was quite revealing too as the consultants did admit that "creative license" was done often by production. So it wasnt really too close to pre colonial conditions. They wanted a family drama that appeals to the masses of today. More curious now on how this world was able to stave off foreign invasions and still embrace english as a second language. A lot of asian countries look at english only to communicate with foreigners. Anyway, that looks like the least of the concerns of a monarchy that thrives on society with hierarchy.
