Big question is which ones? 🤔 I’m torn between American Racing and BBG. Feel like most run Belanger for ease of install but I’m liking the design of the 5-1 of the other options.

Thanks for checking out the video. I documented the process on the channel so you can check some of those videos out but essentially I had a local shop graft the 2 bumpers together. The top and sides are OEM gen 4 with the gen 5 OEM bumper cut to fit in between. Custom bash bar with mounting points for ducting too.

Thanks for watching! They sell Depo brand on Amazon but with the poor fitment issue it is hard to recommend them. If you go with them hopefully you will have better luck.

Thanks for checking out the video. I have dampening set to the middle still (15 clicks) and I did end up adjusting the ride height. I had to raise the settings some to prevent rubbing in the rear. Height isn't necessarily a one size fits all. So you will have to play with that to determine your liking. I love this set up though. 15 year old suspension just wasn't what it used to be. So this is miles better.

Tires would definitely make a giant difference!

@@ChaosCarClub yeah on some toyota website I read that it could do 0-60 in 5.7s maybe I doubt it a little ? But with perfect conditions like good tires and on a track, premium fuel etc. I’m guessing it would be around fast enough

Thanks for checking out the video. Sorry for the delayed response but we did not have to use the equalizer. The signals blink at a normal rate of speed without it. Hope your install goes smoothly!

To make it work has 2 main hurdles. 1 building a custom bash bar to provide mounting points for the bumper. 2 molding and plastic welding the gen 4 bumper to the gen 5 bumper (as top portion is OEM 4 and bottom section is OEM 5) I documented the build as it progressed. Not 100% sure what you are referencing. We have the auto start/stop turned off for all these tests. That is an orange light displaying on the gauges. That might be what you are seeing

@@ChaosCarClub I'm sorry on the sport mode on the dash cluster if you have it on the all-wheel drive display in between the four tires that shows there's a little orange ball doing circles as your In sport mode and driving around. It's just a little graphic but I just don't know what the little orange ball is supposed to be

@@hakenkreuz7076 ahh I got you now! Unfortunately we have the 2wd version so I bet it is exclusive to the awd version. Maybe something to do with how it delivers the power? More power feeding to the rear wheels vs the front? Honestly I’m not sure as I’m not as familiar with that version so that’s a totally guess. Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful but it likely has to be version exclusive.

@@revpgesqredux 🙂 I only knew my mom’s side but he was my confidant. Talked every single day. Lost him at the end of ‘22 and it still hurts. I’ll carry his teachings and love of State with me. Glad you were able to have a relationship with both of yours! As much as I learned from one having both must have been truly special!

Thanks for watching! I’ve had good luck with the CTEK brand chargers. It comes with the connecting cords to run from the positive side of the battery and a negative ground. That portion stays on the car and it has a quick disconnect for easy plug in when the car sits.

It does. Make sure to measure the bed as they sell them in different lengths so you will want to make sure to get the correct size.

Bet Motec could pretty closely replicate the gen 5 style dash. Seen lots of customization with them. Would 100% bring the interior to life
