I agree with positive move, but not in this swing if I'm seeing this kid move forward like this I'm calling off speed he will never barrel one. Also doesn't seem to have good balance but I guess if were chasing EV over AVG.

That positive move definitely creates more power, but you better get it done as the ball is being released, or you'll be trying to making swing decisions as the ball looks like it's coming at you faster.

U cannot rotate until the right time……. Tell a kid what u said and see what happens… They’re kids, they will fly open anyway bec that’s just what they do and try to hit an outside pitch with that demonstration that u did and see if u hit it…

Idk why everyone is scared of that forward movement. There’s a thing of going forward while staying hinged the problem is when these players come out the hinge and causes them to swing around there body and cut across. Great progression!

I think another component that is so important is where to attack the ball. On an inside pitch you need to attack it out in front of the plate. On an outside pitch, make contact over the outer half and launch it over the first baseman's head. Neither of those can be done without the hip mechanics covered in this video. Good stuff.
