Iron Man (2008) -The Wife Watches for the First Time - Flix n Feels
Gladiator fights were overseen by referees, and battles typically ended with first blood or surrender. Showing mercy to an opponent was considered noble, and those who did not show mercy were often shown none in return. Popular fighters could earn a rudis, a wooden sword symbolizing their freedom. This honour could be granted multiple times, though it was sometimes declined, Flamma for example, turned it down 4 times. Most gladiators fought only once or twice a year, similar to professional fighters today. For many, becoming a gladiator was seen as a potential escape from poverty or a way for commoners to make a name for themselves.
I heard somebody argue recently that this movie didn't deserve Best Picture when it came out, without offering up an alternative, and I was highly offended. This movie kicks ass.
Yes the story about the forest is true.
The best reactions are when someone really loves the movie they are introducing someone to. Good job
A little less talking, while viewing the legendary movie!!
Thank you for the feedback! We trying to find the right balance so all input is welcomed, we hope you managed to enjoy it still even if you felt we talked too much. We appreciate you being here!
The Romans usually faced a much larger force when fighting so-called barbarians. In Watling Street in 67 AD in England a Roman force of about 10 000 Romans faced Boudica's very large tribal alliance, perhaps as many as 100 000 warriors. The Romans won a decisive battle and quashed rebellion in Britain after that.
They were an incredible war machine right?! I love hearing about the historical battles and figures, would Boudica and these battles be your favourite or you have other ones? Thank you for being here too!
A charming couple for a charming reaction.
Thank you so much, these kind comments mean so much to us! It's quite daunting putting yourself on camera so messages like this make it much easier, we really appreciate it. Thank you for being here!
@@Flix-n-Feels We understand very well, and reciprocally, the pleasure is greatly shared! 🙏

32:44 "They love each other." Thank you, thank you. Is it safe to assume you knew they were lovers long ago, before they met their spouses? It was clear in all the dialogue. Do you know there are Reactors on YTube who totally lose their minds here, ...And judge them both. I stop the video then. Two people who were lovers long ago, now trapped in a desperate situation, not knowing if they'll ever see one another again...Taking a moment in a prison cell, to remember their love. With all the butchery and evil in this film, 'The Kiss' is the scene some Reactors object to.......For me it's the most beautiful moment in the whole film. I love this movie, saw it in the theater. When it was over, my girlfriend cried all the way back to the car. Lots of women were crying
Love your vibe, have a sub
Thank you thank you! We will gladly accept your sub!
I will comment on this reaction, but not yet, not yet
_pats @drvannozzun on the knee and walks away_ not yet ❤
the way Commodus dies has to be the worst having a struggle with someone else with a blade and they start over powering u and there nothing u can do about it
It would be terrifying right?! The slow realisation and like you say, unable to prevent it... Thank you for being here by the way, we really appreciate all the engagement and hope you enjoyed it!
Everyone's reacting to Gladiator. I assume due to the new one coming out. Sounds like they'll be disappointed in the new one though.
The second coming out did encourage us to do this one sooner rather than later. I've heard mixed reviews so will be interested to get along to see it soon. Do you know any people that have seen it? Good news or bad news?
@@Flix-n-Feels I don't know anyone personally who's seen it but all content creators I've seen, don't like the new one.
Nice reaction keep it up
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it, we really appreciate you being here!
This guy is such a snack. Both handsome and cute. This girl is lucky .
😅😂
yus! lets go @Neptune151 i keep hearing how beautiful my wife is (which she is 🤣) but im glad to finally get a comment myself! haha, thanks for being here, we really appreciate it!
One of my absolute favorite movies. Also the music in this one is so good. Hanz Zimmer is amazing.
The music is incredible, whenever i hear it i grow a foot taller and feel like i can do anything haha. Any time you see Hans Zimmer did the music for a film you know its going to be good. Do you have a favourite Hans Zimmer movie soundtrack? Thanks for being here!
I havent watched this movie and didnt know a 2nd one is coming out soon. This time you gave me a recommendation, ive to watch it before the next one comes out. Nice of you to watch different movies. Keep up to good work, we are here to support you guys.
So glad you enjoyed the reaction and we very much recommend this first one, we haven't got along to the second yet but this one for sure is an all time great! Also thank you so much for being here! It's really helping our channel to have you interact on here with us!
Lauren looks very much like young Lisa Kudrow who played 'Phoebe Buffay' in "Friends"! All your movie reaction videos are fun and entertaining to watch and wish you all the very best for your channel! ❤️...
Thanks so much for engaging with the video, people like yourself commenting is a huge help with our channel! Phoebe is her favourite so she will very much enjoy this! I will make sure she see's it when she's home! Thanks for being here!
Great vid! The guy in it seems like he has awesome guild leader vibes for a world of warcraft guild for some reason...
I appreciate the feedback, there could be no higher compliment than this ❤ haha
Please can you review national treasure with Nicholas cage??? I love that film Also the mummy with brendan Fraser. Not the tom cruise one. Altho I love Tom cruise. Also independence day 1 only, don't bother with the 2nd. Lord of the rings ,all 3 Matrix, just 1 is fine, the other 2 are good but only.if you enjoyed one Don't put yourself through it otherwise
We will make sure they are all on the list, the amount of films Lauren especially hasnt seen is crazy haha, thank you for these suggestions and feel free to keep them coming! ~H
LOVE YOU GUYS ❤
Thank you! So glad you're here!

💜💜💜
Yaaaaaas! Great job keeping consistent with these!
Thank you so much! And for interacting! it's really helping our channel!
The fighter at the end is a P-51 mustang. And it is indeed his personal aircraft.
Love this!! ~L
The security guard is Lou Ferigno, played the TV series hulk. The word hulk, was first used before the 12th century, so the word has been around for a while.
Woah really?! Thanks for letting us know, how interesting! ~L
Looking forward to watching your MCU journey!
Thanks for joining us! Loving it so far! 😊 ~L
I love these reactions! Her journey is going to be so fun to watch, especially when things really start to connect and the story begins to build.
We hope so! Glad you are enjoying watching! 😊 ~L
Damn..I miss this version of the "Incredible Hulk" before they made him more family friendly..Edward Norton is still the best version to me as "Bruce Banner" . In the TV show he was called "David Banner" . I wonder if we will ever get a true "Hulk" Horror movie. I enjoyed watching this one. It's definitely underrated.
I would love a true horror Hulk movie!! That would be awesome. Is Hulk your favourite character? ~L
@Flix-n-Feels I used to watch the TV show growing up as a kid, the opening scene of the movie of Bruce experimenting on himself is a nod to the TV show, which is a cool detail.
Ah ok nice, see info like that from you guys is huge for us as when we saw it, our thought was this is a wild start, but that makes much more sense when you explain it. Thanks so much! Im glad Marvel kept all these little nods to the originals.
Fun Fact: This movie marks the 4th time Edward Norton played a character with DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder). Primal Fear Fight Club The Score (2001)
Wow that's really interesting, he plays the character super well. I haven't watched these other films, do you recommend them? ~L
@ yes
Don't give up on this channel. Is gonna be rough at the start but trust me and the viewers u guys are very entertaing. And we gonna se this channel blow
Thanks so much, we are loving making these reacts!! 😊~L
She looks like a angel. The dude is very lucky 👍🏻 looking forward to your mcu journey. 🎉
Sure am lucky! Glad you're here for the journey :)
@Flix-n-Feels hope it didn't come out creepy. It's more a compliment. She ist just beautiful.
Not at all, she is! Plus you've said it in a nice respectful way which we appreciate! Hopefully will see you around on more of our content as it gets released!
hello, have you seen the movie Tarzan The Fearless?
Neither of us have seen this one, reckon we should add it to the list? One of your favourites?
@@Flix-n-Feels I like the movie. Yes, put it on the list
Ending: Flying off into the sunset. Perfect ending.
Maverick saved Ice Man against 5 other adversaries in the first movie in an F-14. It's why this plane use in the movie is so important to the first one.
The helicopter is a Russian made Hind one one the most deadly helicopters ever made
Sorry F18's not F15's.
Wifey will not understand how important flying the F-14 they stole unless she saw the first movie. Its another callback. The wings come out for airlift flow over the wings.
Hitting the box on the range is homage to the Luke Skywalker's "Womp Rat" scene on Star Wars.
The football scene is a throwback to the volleyball scene in first movie. Miles Teller even looks like his dad Goose in the first movie. This movie gives throwbacks to first movie every 10 minutes.
The moment where Ice asks Maverick who is the better pilot. The pics when he walks into the Pacific Command Center with a pic of him him and Maverick shaking hands. It's a bittersweet moment of realizing why he asked. And that Hangman is the adversary portrayed by IceMan to Maverick in the first movie. its pretty important to know the history of the first movie.
I love that movie included women and minorities in several positions within the Navy.
The planes are F-15 Strike Eagles.
Bob is Lewis Pullman / son of Bill Pullman from "Independance Day" fame movie as President with Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum..
there are so many callbacks to the original film i think wifey needs to see the first movie.
you dont have to blur so many scenes though. just stop once in a while for youtube copyright rules and provide feedback along the way.
You prolly best the best movie to start your channel at 649 subscribers. well I just subscribed. Good luck and keep it up u two!
Thanks so much for subscribing, we really appreciate it.
SR-71 fuel tanks leak on the ground as it flys so high the metal expands in the cold atmosphere and seals up.
the plane is a Darkstar SR-72 Blackbird an updated version of the SR-71. but they did use some CGI to show some modifications.
