Recovered! ❤️🩹😀 A Ride Completed in the Highlands - Part 2
Having failed to complete my previous attempt at this route, here I return to finish the job.
Again, starting in Evanton I head for Novar Wind Farm, negotiating icy roads and trails, cresting the seemingly never-ending climb for some fantastic views over to Ben Wyvis. A drop down to Loch Glass offers a great viewpoint of the Pink House across the water. A sublime (road) descent returns me to Evanton via the spectacular Black Rock Gorge.

This did not work out as planned. A lack of fitness, insufficient food supplies, some tricky, gloopy terrain and failing light conspired to have me abort this ride and limp home to the van.
