I am still really keen on presenting and creating content but I have also been working on a new project.. productreviewsforparents.com helps people make informed decisions about the products they buy for their little ones.

i was taught to never walk behind a horse so when you did it i got triggered. lol🤣
Even though my horse isn’t a race horse, I still give a good care of him He’s a Thoughrobred He’s a black gelding with a blaze on his face. I do this whole routine but I fully empty the nastiness in his shoes and hooves. I clean my saddle bridle weeklyand make sure there is no effect on my saddle pad that could itch or poke him. He’s too sweet to be itched or poked
Very nice horse! How is he doing?
He’s a smashing horse, he’s not racing but living a great life as a happy hacker.
It’s nice they get to be turned out too … lovely video. I really enjoyed watching it.
Thank you ☺️

Thank you for posting these photos! Indianapolis didn't get as colorful a show! Beautiful photos! ☀️💖🙏
Glad you enjoyed it ☺️

Are you going to ship a few in to muck out and ride? ""Tesla Bots are initially positioned to replace people in repetitive, boring, and dangerous tasks""
That was always my plan, I think the horses will get used to them very quickly
Over a hundred years ago another guy associated with the name Tesla learned a very valuable lesson - the hard way. Unless you can make a product you can charge people for using you're not going to make any money. Nikola Tesla wanted to give people free electricity - his backers were having none of it. Elon wants to give people a robot (for a 'small' fee!) but while he can at the moment get some people to pay for his robots, the time of people having/making money they can spend on purchasing such things as robots or an 'abundance' of goods is rapidly coming to an end. When robots start making 'everything' and prices drop - so will wages and disposable income. You'll get a basic income but you're going to have to compete with everyone on Earth to make money in a new way. Most of us aren't going to be all that inventive or good at doing it. Manufacturing companies will start to go broke. The global economy will collapse. The only jobs where good money will be able to be made will be as security staff/armies for billionaires to keep the riff-raff away from them and their homes/yachts/jets and families. Unless robots can do that job better than us as well?
Or everyone will get a paycheck and be universally happy. The End. :)

what do u use for stamin
Wow ❤
Do you school the horses or do they just go on the gallops? And how often are they in the fields ?
Can normal people can see the stable and the horses
Is long slow work better than Breezing often?
How ride racehorses and how to set in canter
That’s a gallop all four hooves land on the ground at different times
Nice video sir
I would like to ask if there are job opportunities for migrant workers in Newmarket? I am a Filipino dreaming of working with the racing industry since I was young.
Shiny horsie
Is it true racehorses are kept in isolation and trained to exhaustion? Also after a racehorse retires is it really sent off to slaughter ?
No, they often get to socialise in the paddocks together and a lot of yards have stables that face each other so they can see the other horses. A horse’s form suffers dramatically when they are overworked so they definitely aren’t trained to exhaustion, that would be counterproductive. Most race horses find a loving home after racing where they do a host of things from eventing to being a cherished pet. Unfortunately there are some people who do send them for slaughter but thankfully those people are in the minority and any owner who sends them horses to train also has blood on their hands.
Yes!!
1:09 most horses at the price dont do well
😅
Very nice , I would never have seen that if you didn’t slow down the footage , most people aren’t looking at the horses legs lol. Always learning something , thanks for sharing the video . 👍
Nice work out , he was feeling good lol , some stables got a lot of horses , same here in Australia , never ending work with horses but very enjoyable if you love the horses. 👍
Whatabout entry fees?
Very, very good video. Thanks for sharing
That’s very kind, thank you 🙏🏼

My OTTB does that same stomp thing thus horse dud halfway through video and only when I go to his back right side he’s been checked and cleared he is on the best gut health supplement I have his environment fit for him i was told he does it from previously possibly having ulcers from being on the track but I just wish I knew exactly what to do to help him heal from that trauma he’s getting his first adjustment Monday I’m hoping with more time I’ll be able to figure it out
Sometimes they just develop habits and it doesn't have to mean anything. You've crealy looked into it and found nothing so if he's happy then don't worry about it.
I always learned that about shavings new in bank I knew a lady once who would put a lot of the wet shavings out to dry in sun then use again also she would run into stable everytimethe horse weed and catch it in a bucket 😅😅😂
What is the distance of the ling hill?
It's 7 furlongs
Hi , how many times a day should cleaning be done?
once or twice, depending on how many of your staff turn up for work.
Well, you let Corkie down there as the bridal was the last thing you took off.......was it not?
Well spotted, it's only a matter of second here. In the old days we used to tie the horses back to the wall whilst taking their tack off and doing them up so you would take the bridle off and then put the headcollar back on. Then you would take the saddle off.
Ok is it only me who thinks western saddles look mega comfy?
They’re really comfy I got to try one once and it puts the English saddle to shame 😂

Hi Martin.. May I ask you a question, can wild american mustang horses sold in auction be tamed and be used in horse racing competition? What is your view and opinion on my question?
Hi, no they can't all horses that run at racetracks have to be thoroughbred (or arabian bred in some cases). Mustangs are very tough and they make great work horses but they wouldn't be competetive against thoroughbreds.
@@Training_Racehorses I see.. Thank you so much for such a great information..😊
@@caesarogsos5347 Any time 👍🏼
Are u USA based would love to come out and learn
No I'm based in England sorry
What impact does the OR have on picking a winner?
OR stands for Official Rating so in a handicap race, the horses with a higher OR carry more weight. What you want to look out for is a horse that is running off a lower OR than they have previously won with. This is a horse that is "Well in" at the weights
Thanks Martin, appreciate it. Saw you’ve stopped training, what are you currently upto? Come across your content only recently and it’s really good to watch, out on the gallops with headcam on
@@leo_s-z8g Thank you, I’m just spending some time at home with my family for now. I’ll probably carry on doing social media in one way or another.
Would you like to let me know what is the best food for racing horses?
Most horses get a fully balanced mix of mostly cereals and grains.
As a first time rider on a racehorse what are some tips you could give
Stay calm, be strong and live in the moment. Too many novice riders spend their time worrying about what their horse might do rather than just being in the present moment. The problem with worrying about what a horse might do is that you tent to react to something they haven't done and inadvertantly make them do do the very thing you were afraid of. For instance... when riders think "He's going to try and run away with me" they grab the reins shorter and grip tighter, to a racehorse this means "Ok, it's time to go!". So by thinking about them running off with you, you will have manifested just that. Another peice of advice is to not react to every little thing they do If you get annoyed with a horse every time they spook or stumble, you will just make them more nervous and if you keep reacting every time they move things will spiral out of control. They saying goes:"Relax in the brain and send it down the rein"
Will miss your videos wish you all the best
I race my horse and I’m trying to get him in shape again as I haven’t been racing in a couple months. What would you say the best way to get a horse fit is?
Lots of steady work for conditioning and sprints for anarobic fitness, if you do HIT sprints 2 or 3 times a week and steady cantering the other days you won't be far away. Nutrition is another vital part of training and can often make the difference between winning and losing.
@@Training_Racehorses…out of curiosity, I can’t remember such along time ago I used to ride maybe 30 years ago now or more I’m in my 50,s ,from memory what amount of time it take from a horse that’s come in from the paddock to race start about 12 to 16 weeks ,3 to 4 months ,I can’t remember
@@fishmut Yes it totally depends on the horse, some naturally push themselves more and require less training to get to full fitness.
How do You Feel About Claiming Horses From Races?...Good Idea?...No?
Absolutely yes! I bought one of my best horses (Hillbilly Boy) from a selling race for less then £10K and less than 6 months later he took me to Royal Ascot!
Your shirt is all wrinkled dude.
