A little late now, but, nice build! Amazed of ypur free hand use of the airbrush without masking. Can I ask you the exact brand and model of airbrush? Some time ago build an M60A2 "old classic" from Esci. This model is absolutely superior even than 2004 Revell version. To simulate the cast I put a small amount of ultra thin glue and stipled the surface using a very stiff brush, since the detail was so soft I was worried about being totally erased. Final step was small sanding using a fiberglass pencil. That 80s look is amazing! Greetings from Argentina

Adorable and well detailed little diorama. I like how the chest was used as a base for the scene and would be interesting to see what you use next in future dioramas. NONSENCE on INTERNET and this kit from A.MiG! Czechoslovakia NEVER HAD T-54B! In my country we made T-54A under soviet license. Initial 1958. The grill covers of T-54A are diferente and tank was lifetime modernised /60-80s/, first to T-54AM...AM1...AM2. Many other differences and specifications, just as Poland modified its licensed T-54A from 1956.

I made the mistake to build the MiniArt Stug 42 howitzer after I built the Vespid Panther. So I got the same feeling you have. It’s disappointing. The plastic looks and feels really cheap. Like a limited run kit. Still, it is very detailed and in some regards even overly complicated. Like what you said about the gun and the wheels. The Dragon Stug is far superior to MiniArt, but I got the MiniArt on sale and with the added details I still think I got a relatively good buy. However, if you want to build a better Stug, Dragon and aftermarket OKB tracks will be much better. As for your winter camouflage, buddy, I’ve got very good books with highly realistic colored drawings of tanks, combined with black and white photos. So I think I can honestly say your paint job nailed it. Perhaps it didn’t go the way you wanted, but the results are as realistic as anyone could possibly hope for. So that’s my two cents on the matter. Cheers, Any.

Looks good, especially the rust. You could totaly do an abandoned rusty tank diorama in a field or something similar if i tickles your fancy. As for other 1/48 scale tank kits afaik tamiya does the most in that scale that are relatively recent and there is one hobby boss 1/48 dicker max that released a bit ago, so if any of those interest you go for it. Keep building what you like and share it as every new build gets better. Stay safe, stay awsome, build your models don't just collect them, can't wait to see the next one, cheers

If you heat up the knife it will slice better, but sometimes these types of foam baord have a sort of wood like grain so you want to test out the block before cutting on a scrap peice to see which direction it cuts best. BUT wow nice work and subject matter very well executed 😎

I think you did a very good job. I’m more comfortable with oils than acrylics though. Still, it works just as well for you.
