This is a custom repaint and slight modification of the Hasbro Vintage Red 5 X Wing (ESB version). The model itself is only about 85% accurate but with an accurate paint scheme it makes a great display model at almost studio scale (19" long). This my build of Luke's Red5. The kit is the AMT 8585 Pro-Shop Electronic X-Wing Fighter. It's about 13" long and about 90% accurate to the ILM studio model. Personally I believe its more important to have an accurate paint scheme than an accurate kit. This paint job is about 95% accurate. The slide show shows ILM studio model pics at the end for reference.

In honor of mankind's greatest achievement, Apollo 11 landing on the Moon, July 20, 1969. Hard to find 1/48 scale by Dragon Models. Very accurate but still required some mods and scratch built parts. Neil Armstrong had to manually fly Eagle for the last few minutes and landed with only 30 seconds of fuel left.
