I was there and it was my first P Funk show- it was so f’ing hot in there.
LEGENDARY!! Phillipe Wynn STAGE PERFORMANCE!!!
RIP Bernie! I saw him live at the Fillmore in SF just about a year or two before his death, and he was just as vital as ever. Game-changer on the keys and synth.
Fun Fact: philipe' Wynne sang in Bootsy's Band Before he joined the Spinners.
Cameo for the down beat 💓 🎉😅
Sir Duke De Fourtia Funk 🎉😅
Where's Bernie Woreril and Porlet and the P Funk Allstars and Bootsey's funky bass Fred Weasley on trombone ❤😂🎉😅
Young Kidd Funkadelic
A Funky Masterpiece 🎶🎶🎶🕺🏾🕺🏾
Bernie is killing it
I remember seeing the Spinners at the Valley Forge theater near Philly, thanks Dad!!
Me on my mission to find every live version of psychoticbumpschool
Philippe Wynne left The Spinners for Parliament-Funkadelic due to a mix of creative and personal motivations. As the lead singer of The Spinners, he contributed to their string of hits in the 1970s but eventually grew frustrated with the limited creative control and the constraints of performing primarily smooth soul and R&B. Wynne sought greater artistic freedom and a chance to showcase his dynamic vocal and improvisational skills in a different musical setting. By joining Parliament-Funkadelic, led by George Clinton, Wynne entered a collective known for its experimental, boundary-pushing funk music and theatrical performances. This move allowed him to explore a more eclectic, freewheeling sound and engage with a band renowned for its groundbreaking creativity. Wynne’s contributions to Parliament-Funkadelic include standout performances such as on tracks like "Rumpofsteelskin," where his charismatic delivery and vocal improvisations added to the group's unique flair. Ultimately, his transition from The Spinners to Parliament-Funkadelic was a bid for more artistic independence and a chance to tap into a different, more improvisational and electric funk style than what his previous group had offered.
Thank you
CAAANNNNN YOU DIG IT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟
The perfect entertainer ❤
Man, that Disco To Go intro/outro is one of the BADDEST licks ever!!

Ich habe ihn sehr oft erleben dürfen und auch zu letzt in dem jahr in dem er leider verstorben ist... er fehlt... 😥
Good job. 😮
Phillippe Wynn has a gospel feel on his voice...
Remember how he sang Mighty Love and they couldnt get him off that stage..? We would just cry laughing when we were kids, becayse they would try to wrap ot up but he was feeling it and adlibbing and you couldn't stop him..he was so passionate..theres not many like him
How i adored his voice...he was super special
This is great! Thanks
Behind all the greateness of this performance, the nasty Junie Morrison's synth bass and Rodney Skeet's bass guitar got buried in the mix. We need to have a petition for restoring the entire show to premium quality sound and visual. This was epic at so many levels I can't even begin to tell.
This is sho nuff a classic performance here. Miss this old school!
I never knew who was singing on this track..love his voice
awesome thank you!
Eddie Hazel needs a documentary also.
This is in Landover Maryland
Wish there was a complete concert somewhere lingering in the shadows of TH-cam. I belive this entire show to be THE BOMB. Even the Beverly Theatre show isn't as good as this one.
Bootsy is in the KKK.
The George Washinton Carver of Galatic Funk music, & free Spiritual communication inovation. Peerless, but close to Billy Preston, and Steve Wonder as noted by some knowledgeable observers. Yet to be fully appreciated, & understood like Jimmy Hendricks, and Miles Davis, just mention a few Avantguard Creators in space, and time.❤😮❤❤

Wynne adlibed the whole part on the recording.
Archbishop Bootsy! One in a generation!

Is Bernie autistic? He has all the autistic traits of an autistic savant
Go Skeet! You the man on that bass!
I saw this show in Cleveland!
❤❤❤❤❤❤ Enjoed 2024.
A phd patchmeister, a theoretical funk doctor, a multidimensional locksmith, a musical auteur
To think I personally got on the Apollo 😮 theater stage arm around George's shoulder and my boy Ricky on George's right side and we're singing Flash 📸 light 😊😊😊
