Raw Vegan Carrot Ginger Soup No Nuts No Seeds
This raw-vegan carrot-ginger soup is light with a little bit of creaminess from the avocado. The ginger adds a spicy kick. The coconut aminos imparts a slight coconut flavor with a touch of salt and sweetness.
Raw Vegan Carrot-Ginger Soup Recipe:
2 1/2 cups filtered drinking water
1-inch peeled and shredded ginger (or finely dice)
1 soft pitted medjool date, diced
1 cup peeled and chopped carrots
1 T coconut aminos
3/4 of a ripe avocado
Optional toppings:
marinated dehydrated mushrooms
a tablespoon raw walnuts
salt and pepper
coconut aminos
Soak date in room-temperature water for at least 30 minutes to soften, then toss out the date water. Add all the above ingredients to your high-speed blender, including the date, starting on low and cranking up to high for 1 minute. Pour into a medium-sized bowl and eat with a spoon. Serves 2.

    Also I noticed you mentioned VD supplement isn't good and we can have it from sun How much time do we have to sit in the sun? And which time of the day is best?

      Ten minutes in the sun each day without sunscreen may or may not be sufficient, depending on your skin color, time of year and where you live. Avoid direct sunlight at the hottest times of the day, usually from 11am - 2 pm. Lissa's Raw Vegan Romance has items she recommends on her Amazon account. You might want to try the vegan Vitamin D she uses if your Vitamin D level is below 20.

    What is wrong with bragg’s aminos and is the exclusion of peanuts because of allergies, taste preference or both?

      Bragg’s aminos has a bitter, fishy flavor. Coconut aminos tastes like a sweeter, less salty soy sauce. Peanuts 🥜 aren’t raw and contain saturated fat which is why raw vegans 🌱 avoid it.

      That makes no sense. There are many reasons people don’t want to eat animal sausage. Vegans don’t eat animals because of the cruelty and plant based dieters don’t eat it because of the cholesterol. People crave food for the flavor, so if you can replace the animal products and use the same mix of herbs and seasonings to get something tasty, then it makes perfect sense to do that.

    Hi, Couldn't understand what you mentioned about where to get B12 from. Unfortified Nutritional yeast will not give B12 then where do you obtain it from. Can you please clarify it? Thanks!

      @@seemapradhan6970if you have a low B12, take a supplement right away and get it re-tested to see if you need to up the dose. Most people have to continue taking a B12 supplement to maintain a healthy level.

    Thank you for the recipe. Did you have any plant milk while doing Dr Goldner’s protocol? I’ m planning to do the GLP and your tips and raw recipes are so good and very helpful. It doesn’t’ seem so scary to eat only raw food 😅. Your experience sticking to the protocol is so inspiring.

      I drank homemade almond milk. I'm now using coconut water and coffee in my smoothies and am continuing eating raw to see if I can resolve the remaining autoimmune conditions I have. Thanks for writing.
