In this video, I dive into the adverse effects of racist tropes and how they disproportionately impact Black hunters and outdoors enthusiasts. Using the 47th POTUS's baseless claims of Black people eating cats and dogs in Springfield, OH, I explain why I warned that this narrative and others like this would be weaponized and examine the real-world consequences of marginalizing hunters of color. I also outline how Black and other hunters of color can address people using racist tropes against them for surprisingly positive outcomes. #huntingwhileBlack
