Real West Ham Fans action group | Our Story | West Ham United
Real West Ham Fans Action Group ahead of their march on March 10th. Andy Swallow and Micky Morgan take a trip down memory lane to the Boleyn and visit businesses and West ham United fans affected by the move to the Olympic Stadium (soulless bowl).
A special mention also to Isla Caton a little girl who has been diagnosed with a rare child cancer called Neuroblastoma. Isla is in the hearts of all West Ham United fans who are raising money for her to get a special life saving treatment in America. Any donations would be most welcome goo.gl/bntGnD

Superb Vlog from a Millwall fan who first attended in 1962 and first went to Upton Park in March 1965 when you beat WBA 6.1 with Brian Dear scoring 5. Very poignant and heartbreaking and still just as relevant 6 years on. The whole Community ruined by £££££££$$$$$$$.

I stopped watching arsenal in 2002, as arsenal decided to leave highbury Have not seen arsenal since, and never will again Highbury will always be what arsenal was for me, standing on the north bank as a kid For me, arsenal is dead, highbury is gone So i understand what these west ham fans feel like. Highbury went and so did my love for arsenal. So i know what you guys feel like, but off course for you it was west ham, and upton park. Your new ground will never replace the old stadium. Glad i will never watch arsenal again, no matter what they do. Arsenal for me, will always be highbury, remember my first game there paying £4 as a kid to stand on north bank So i know what you west ham fans feel like

How’s that working out for you now? Won a European trophy and have far better players who want to to come to whu now. Would’ve been championship had we stayed at UP. Onwards and upwards I say. A house is a house. A home is what you make it. How would things have turned out if we stayed at outdated and tiny UP? You old romantics you. 😂

My grandad was the owner of Ken’s cafe in green street. We told everyone we should still be open on match day in 2016. In 2020 Covid started and than they closed. In 2021 they sold the cafe. Also, yesterday would been Ken’s birthday but we lost him last June. RIP grandad.

Is it true that the Isla Catton fund didn't receive a single penny of the hundreds of thousands pounds raised by the RWHFG? Been hearing from several West Ham that Isla's Mum & Dad never got a single penny of the money, surely that ain't true is it? Nobody could do that surely. Worst than Brady & Dildo Brothers if true. On par with Peados if true.

When we lost our old Den something died in us..like it did when upton prk went it was criminal....been going Old Den since 1957 it was devastating seeing it being demolished...i loved going ninian prk.. fratton prk..upton prk...real class supporters who.d like us would die for there club...no matter what town or city you went to you.d meet people as staunch about there club as you was. there was often violence that went with the terrortry it wasn.t mean.t to be friendly and you never expected a welcome as much as away supporters wouldn.t at our gaff...but we respected each other....for all the hatred between Millwall n West Ham were cut from the same cloth like most families having a knees up...theres always a lil shin dig... on the day of a game between millwall West Ham its all.out war..next day you dust yaself down..lick your wounds...and the banter starts......😉

West ham were sold up the river by people who don't care about your history and your feelings for your club these new grounds do not have any history or feelings for the fans or the business that have been ruined by the board of the club all lies who don't give a fuck and I'm a man United fan who used to love going to Upton park I feel for all the fans of your club just keep the faith and I know you will always follow your club wear ever they play

From this video up until now our warrior Isla brought the whole of West Ham family and rival teams together ❤ that's how West Ham do things we are as one and ww all made sure Isla got what she needed. Over 2 weeks ago we lost our beautiful Isla but now when you think of our team you think of Isla. She did that ❤. We may not have Upton Park, but we have each other, our West Ham family, our memories most of all we still have our old girl The Vic, my 2nd home 🤣 and we need to make sure we keep her full with fans each game she is a part of our history xx

So sad that i missed the last match on Upton park, It will always be in my heart. Was my home my secure place when i lived in London back in -04. I will see the new arena when i can afford it someday but for now we need to remember the past.

Sorry but tradition doesn't make money unless your Liverpool or Manchester utd it's a crying shame what the modern game has become I'm a Blackburn Rovers fan we have one of the finest histories in the game and look at the state were in our old ground Ewood park was proper old school our new ground looks like it's made of lego but we didn't move location it must be really weird moving after so many years at Upton Park anyway keep opposing the greedy owners and never forget a club is nothing without fans your the real heart of any club sell the best anyway BRFCmark

I think ultimately we had to move, otherwise we were going to be left behind as a club. Altough I am proud to see these guys try to protect our heritage. The only other option I can think of is to try and broker a deal with shad khan to sell him the stadium to move the Jacksonville jaguar's over to the UK. We could then relocate back to the east end with a new and bought stadium. Ultimately we needed a new stadium, but I now feel like a north london club as opposed to an east end one.

The clubs don't care what fans want they just want fans who spend money on the crap they produce . My team was Man City. It feels like an away game when you are at home. 17 years and its still not home. My heart goes out to you as football will never be the same.

i agree, it must be bloody hard IN HINDSIGHT, but there were SO MANY west ham fans in favour of this, how many fans said, 'yeah, it's just a small move down the road, but I'll take that for champions league!'. Football is a funny old thing, you WILL get some better owners soon... but god knows how many years I watched my team do shit, so fucking deal with it.

At Leeds they tried this on when we were flying high in the Champions League 20 years ago. They rigged a 'poll' among the season ticket holders and claimed a majority of us wanted to move to a new plastic Meccano style monstrosity well out of the City next to the Sewerage works of all locations! I couldn't find a single season ticket holder who voted to move. The only reason it didn't happen is we went bust just after the 'poll ' so we dodged a bullet and thank God we stayed at our true home Elland Road .
