Thank you, thank you. I have been wrestling with my color grading in da Vinci. My shots are very dynamic (moving from exterior blue light to interior yellow low light) and so I've been trying to find a way to still run and gun without having to 1 trust AWB and 2 modify a manual wb real time. The real solution was having the correct color space applied. This has fixed so many problems for me and I don't know why it's not talked about more. Thanks a bunch!

I think rs4 is not the upgrade of rs2. DJI rs4 pro is the upgrade of rs2. They had terrible naming going on back then and they have fixed it with the launch of rs3 series.

Wow, of all the videos I have seen about the best picture profile for 8-bit Sony cameras, this one is undoubtedly the best, seeing your work, the The colors look incredible, I have been through the same thing, I have used slog2 but in 8 bits it does not look so good, and I prefer to sacrifice a percentage of dynamic range but make the image look as good as possible, I really appreciate you sharing this information.

Try it without the quick release plate. Just with the Cage you have around your camera. I balanced my A7 IV (Smallrig Cage) with a 24-70mm very easy.. :)

Hi Bryce - I use Falcam F38 clips, will I be able to use this clip with the vertical plate on the RS4.

The prores codec wins out when filming motion so your static test is not quite accurate. Do the same test with some flowing water and you will see the difference.

My RS3 is rocking solid!! I'm loving it. No need to upgrade to RS4.

I upgraded from the RSC2 - where I mounted my A7S3 by adding the plate to the side of the camera and it balanced fairly well! Then I got the RS4, and it didn't work with the cage.... So I returned the RS4 and downgraded it to the RS3, with the $60 attachment for portrait mode - as for me I don't need to switch between horizontal and portrait whilst on a shoot, and if I do, I've just invested in the Falcam ecosystem, which allows me to pop off the camera straight of the gimbal, and add a handle on within seconds, to then go horizontal if I really need it. Great video and I think more people need to watch this! I searched so long for a solution before returning the RS4, and I only saw this pop up on my TH-cam page today!

yup same issue, but with a Leica SL2S, 2kg's with the lens. and when you try to correct it. the motor just overheats.
