The Burning of Rosemont Abbey, Over The Edge, and One Last Stand. I just started It Had To Be You, and I haven't read any of her newer titles, and maybe Seventy North. Never read Woodhouse's books.

So many fantastic books releasing in one month! I rushed over to audible and preordered Over the Edge by Irene Hannon. Love her books and I'm always in the mood for romantic suspense in the fall plus I love her narrator. Thanks for sharing!

I read the ARC copies of both The Mistletoe Season and Hope Like Wildflowers. Normally I don’t like novellas because just as I really get into them the book ends but I so wanted to read The Mistletoe Prince and this was the only way to do that. I enjoyed all three of the stories but I wish that Arron’s and Charlie’s story could have been a whole book. I also loved Hope Like Wildflowers because I have been wanting to know Kizzie’s story from the very beginning.. now to books that I want to read. All We Thought We Knew because I really enjoy Michelle’s writings and Appalachian Song her book from last year was my all time favorite.

Most of my favorite genres that I talk about are historical fiction, usually romance but pretty much always Christian ❤ I do ramble a lot, so my videos are generally longer, I know some people don’t love that! Of these, I've only read two, those being Shadows Of Swanford Abbey and In The Shadow Of Croft Towers; both of which I've read just once, and my favorite was Klassen's.

Good for you Lou, love how you are carving out your reading time. You are my favorite book tuber. One of the very few I watch now. I really felt pressured by how many books everyone was reading, and all the book hauls. I am a slow reader by choice, I like to let the stories sink into me. After I finish a book I very rarely pick up another one straight away. As my favorite genre is biblical fiction I will often go to my Bible and read the from there the characters in my book and see how closely they connect. I would love to see you do some more videos on your bible reading. You have been such an inspiration to me. Helping me to be closer to Father God. I am having a few health problems at the moment. Would you pleas pray for me. 🙏

Yay, I figured out the notification thingy -- too many options stymied me but I got brave and chose 'all'. Looks like that was the right way to go. lol I'm such a techie dunce! Oddly enough, I start to crave Christmas books in the autumn and there are quite a few CF new releases coming out so -- yay! Plus, I like to read mystery and suspense in the autumn too so looking forward to that. It's one of my favourite genres but I found I was reading a lot of rom/com and contemporary romance or historical romance almost exclusively for awhile. The August suspense readathon has got me back into my suspense books so I'm hoping to continue that.

Virginia sounds good to me. McNear is not afraid to address difficult topics in a Christian story, and it makes her stories more suspenseful, grittier, emotional.
