"Bosco... you're the best!"

I started to play this Rock piece of art like 6 days ago. I'm like +40 hours and since I started I always play solo public, and most games where awesome due that suddenly sooner or later, someone or 3 other players enter and help me, rocking and stoning with cool comrades that decided to enter is always good, just one time there was a player that was rushing pressing the button without caring the core stone and minerals that weren't extracted. Today (Yeah the same as I'm writing this) was a weird day, I played like 5 missions solo and no one joined... It's not sad, just weird, but I enjoyed coordinating and getting saved by Bosco, what a good bot guy! Oh yeah, I use the +800 particles gone for performance mod and others that are for silly sounds like the Molly Miku, so cool, so nice to have this native support! (Do not delete the files in the TEMP folder, they are used to make the game understand the options and preferences of the game mods!)

I love solo missions, there's something peaceful about them. First year of playing deep Rock on a garbage pc maybe constantly disconnecting from player lobbies. Deep dives were next to impossible for me, and even normal multiplayer was a massive hassle. I always knew Bosco had my back, though o7

Even on a Solo Mission, you never Rock and Stone alone. You’ve got Molly, and you’ve got Bosco. And Mission Control is still looking out for you.

Man this made me emotional. My first few hundred drops (not hyperbole) were solo because of anxiety. Hoxxes hits different as a solo.

I play mostly solo just cause I like taking in the atmosphere of Hoxxes IV it’s pretty chill when bugs aren’t swarming you

Sometimes it's nice to sit back and play at your own pace, plus the ability to actually pause the game is nice too incase something else needs your attention while you're playing.

Truthfully, much like Bosco always somehow perfectly blocking my charged garand shots, other players just get in my way.

I started playing this game a week ago, and i cannot describe how much i relate to it. As someone who don't have a microphone, the best internet, or the best pc ... hell! I even download mods to fix my improvement problems, so I could run it on my computer! ... Most of the time I end up Rocking alone. However, I don't see it as a bad thing, thanks to that, I have come to consider Molly and Rosco the best mining partners that anyone could ask for, they really do their job when it comes to supporting you, or just keeping you company. Finally, i would like to say that, Rocking with other miners it's cool, but, if you Rock alone, that's cool too, because, the thing is, that you're never gonna be alone. Rock and Stone everyone !!!

Ahh... Solo gameplay. This had become my main way to play most games after the lockdown, because everyone was just so different. I feel like everyone had changed, and I was locked in the past. While everyone I knew talked about things like anime, I was still fondly remembering all the good times I had playing games like these, and Deep Rock Galactic was the game to bring me back to multiplayer with its amazing community and golden humour. I felt like I was home again, back with people I could relate to. Rock and Stone everyone, even to you, solo dwarves!

As a person who has only ever played solo since I’ve got the game (am, as time of writing this, level 16), the only inaccuracy here is that you didn’t just sic bosco on the fleas instead of doing it yourself Edit: the only sad thing about solo I can think of is that you can’t really rapidly ping mushrooms and compressed gold for the voicelines because Bosco. Though, you can solo _without_ bosco, so that is potentially canceled out

played this game for years alone. friend and GF finally played it, GFs gone and friend is usually busy. to those who rock and stone, I salute you.

Im doing solo mostly because of the 100 solo missions achievements, Its still very fun of course

Just wanna put that this vid was the final push that got me buying the game. Now 171 hours in on solo.....what a wonderfull world indeed, 😌 Cept stingtails and leeches, fk those things...

I do this play single all the time my only problem coming up against a mission involving multiple things to hack under a timer does not go well with me

I miss playing DRG. My old console aint working too well anymore. My dumb 'puter cant run it. I rock alone on the rare days I rock at all. Maybe one day I'll save up enough for a proper pc. Edit: Got it to run bois!

As someone who rocks alone nowadays, this brings a tear to my eye... It certainly is a different experience, feels a bit nostalgic even. Don't get me wrong, Bosco really is the best buddy, it's just that... last dwarf in the pod pays for the first round hahah... 😅

I'm almost 400 hours in and it's all been solo. I prefer to play at my own pace and really immerse myself in the experience. I'm sure co-op is fun and if I had friends I might try it out but there's no way in hell I'm gonna play with randos lol.

The two times I played with others, they were regimented almost like military. No messing around, almost like they were speedrunning. Only one of the fellows rock and stoned. I don’t have the heart to try again. I’ll stick with Bosco. My dwarf glumly turns as he enters the drop pod and salutes Bosco as the shell closes. “If you Rock and Stone, you’re never alone. Last dwarf in the pod pays for the first round.”

In all honesty, I play alone most of the time because the amount of chaos that goes down in multiplayer makes my potato pc consider ending itself.

I haven't played with a team yet. Bosco is awesome, but it seems like people have way more fun on a team.
