Because Christ preached in Greek and not in Aramaic. Stop the propaganda of the Latins who want to inferior the Greek speaking East Orthodox Patriarchates. Otherwise no one would dare to write the life and times of Christ in a language other than He preached. They would make a translation from Aramaic to Greek but the original gospels would all in Aramaic. But no. History teach us that 3 out of 4 Gospels and ALL of the rest of New Testament was written in Greek Koine.
@@petroskarkaris5181Re file mou, you need to educate yourself. Greek was the language of scripture, yes, but Aramaic was the common language of the area. Likely, Jesus spoke both. Eimai Ellinas, to ksero thn istorias pou les. Einai h misi alitheia. Think about it for a second, if the common language of the area was Aramaic, and the scholarly language was Greek, wouldn't it make sense that Jesus spoke both? Ultimately he would want to spread his message as wide as possible, wouldn't including the common language be advised?
