Ok, now let's dive into this scents: Alpine Getaway has a fresh almost minty scent, appropriately named. It has a really charred but sweet feel to it. It always has a fresh, uplifting smell to me. Fresh & fun. I like it. As expected. Sweet but not cloying. I’d be interested to see how this performs as a candle or melt. An odd scent combo to my nose, not something I would naturally gravitate towards. It's like drinking hot chocolate in front of a lavender bush. It's on the spicy side. I can see how it would inspire the mental image of fallen leaves in autumn. I don’t dislike it but I won’t run to make a candle out of it either. Village Craft & Candle have since discontinued this fragrance so it's a moot point I guess. Holly & Ivy I have no idea how holly & ivy should smell but I’d say this is about right. It smells fresh & a bit minty for lack of a better word, it smells like the outdoors in winter I guess. I’m not sure how else to describe it. Thank you! I’ve never made a wreath before but after going to a Christmas vendor show, I was in awe of such a beautiful talent in seeing so many wreaths made from ribbon and bows. I went right out and bought the materials I thought would work, came home, went to work and 2 days later, pushed it all to the end of the table and gave up 😂. This is clearly not my talent. I only did one layer of deco mesh for the outside and you could still see the frame. The bows I made are all see thru because (my inexperienced self didn’t check what I should buy, I just went with colors I thought would be pretty) and they are ridiculous looking and I was ready to just throw it all away. You gave me hope! Tomorrow I will undo it all, go purchase a few more rolls and try the 3 roll and bubble/bobble method! And buy some real ribbon to add to the backing of my see through ones. Thank you for making this video and for making me laugh and smile while watching!
