Best video on how to re-pack the pump on TH-cam. Thanks for the slow close ups!
Terimakasih dari indonesia.

Thank you
What type of grease is used for the packing of that machine thanks ☺️☺️
@@rolandogarcia5067 Titan red grease PN# 700-203
Great video!! I’ll be using this when I rebuild my pump.
I’ve watched every video out there on how to repack a pump and this one is by far the most easiest to follow with the close up shots. Thanks you made my packing experience very easy.
Yeah I figured as much showing up close, I know I've felt the same thing watching other vids of like car repair and electronic stuff, anywho you're welcome.
Great let see if I can do it
What kind of oil do you soak the packing in?
Any 10w30 motor oil will do
Out of all of the videos I’ve watched you were the best you showed what everything looks like before and as you put it together up close well done Thank you 🙏
I always fill the intake up with water to make sure it's not leaking pass the seat.
Don't use those crap packings.......you didn't grease the the interior groves of the packing and use the top packing nut to push the uppers into place and use the lower I take to push the lowers into place. Don't use a rubber hammer on the packings
Like I explained in the comment below you Com4, these are rentals, and customers put them thru hell, and good ol’ 10w30 oil is good enough, been using them packings for 20 yrs, the rubber mallet and the brass bushing is a safe and effective way for beginners to tackle this without damaging the block. Have Blessed day!
@@Tony_M392 What grease would you recommend for best performance when repacking a constantly used Impact 410?
@@EverythingEpicGames300 For grease I would recommend the Titan Red Grease Packet part# 700-203
@@Tony_M392 Excellent, thank you
Nice video. But try not to scratch the block when its in the vice. Do some rubber between. Than its a 100% perfect job.
I usually put a cloth in between but this is mine and its a rental, its best to dirty rentals up out of the box like paint them straight out thanks to thieves.
Where do you purchase your replacement parts from? Thanks
From Bedford or Warwick, or you can just google them there are several others online.
how long does a packing last you?
Depends on the material introduced, and if you strain it before hand, also how much you use it.
I just replaced my packing after 20 years of no issues, so roughly about that long
