wow can't decide if it's the vocal or the lyric that touches me the most , such a perfect blend but I do know that as a 71 year old lifelong music lover it's so nice to be taken back to the singer/ songwriters that that first touched my soul and gave me goosebumps.

My friend and I traveled up from the shoreline of Connecticut to Northampton last night to see your show at The Parlor Room. I had convinced him that it was going to be a trip well worth taking, and it was all of that and more. It was so nice to be right in front of the stage to watch you all perform, thanks so much for a great evening of music. I also needed to know who wrote Roll me Mama and actually somehow found a way to fit the word pellucidity into a song lyric :).

I recently lost my mom to dementia. I was blessed with the opportunity to return home and to be able to take care of her while she went through her challenging journey. Ultimately, I was by her side when she took her last breath. It was the most beautiful, spiritual experience that could never be expressed in words, While at the same time, the most crushing sense of pain, emptiness and sense of loss I've ever experienced. Thank you Kat, for being able to express all these feelings I went through and still going through, in the most beautiful, healing way possible. It is possible for something to hurt so much that it's truly unique and beautiful. It's unconditional love.
