No problem! It’s been a joy to see comments of this same type from people who appreciate this music as much as I do!

I’m flattered, but all of these videos have been done using files given out by the author (Jake Kaufman) himself on bandcamp, these haven’t been reconstructed rather each individual channel has been separated. I am sure some .nsf to midi converters are out there somewhere, but I wouldn’t charge for them. If you want any more info I can be reached at boney3003 or just Boney on discord. If that doesn’t work I am usually active on the Team D-13 discord so use that to reach out to me, thanks for the interest however I just don’t think I’d want to charge for doing anything related to this hobby, as I want to do it more as a game historian type deal

Not sure as the sample origin itself but in Bamboo tracker it’s under FM Slapbass. BT is primarily a Yamaha YM2608 tracker so you could search for samples in that vein, hope this helps!

That’s the idea and main goal I have with these, to just showcase how much work went into this games soundtrack and how brilliant Kaufman is, it appeals to my game history brain and the ideal of having people use these videos for teaching themselves! The file for this games ost (in .NSF format) are all available from a free download on Kaufman’s bandcamp and I can’t recommend enough getting them yourself and playing around with the GEP in foobar yourself! (Will need the game emu player add on for that though)!

@@boneyzoney9551 that's awesome! I'll definitely want to check that out. Just yesterday I was listening to the chao garden theme from sonic adventure 2 on repeat analyzing the different tracks, which is probably why TH-cam suggested this video XD I never realized how much effort goes into the music until I tried focusing on each individual part instead of just listening to the melody. That's why I like how you end this video with all of the tracks except the melody and then added the melody in.

He’s doing his best, some songs DO actually use him just not many in the soundtrack!
