WHO IS HARD WORKING HUNTER?
We are just a group of blue collar, hard-working men first! We all have normal jobs and put in lots of hours throughout the year just so we can hunt! For example, Darrick and I work in Agriculture, which is a mainly a seasonal job. We put in a years worth of work hours in about 7-8 months; spring through the summer. Then we get to take lots of time in the fall to hunt and try to create epic films that tell our stories along the way. We chose to call ourselves Hard Working Hunters not just because we work hard throughout the year so that we can hunt, But Also because when we hunt, we hunt hard with a passion and desire to know what’s over the next ridge!

Backcountry idaho archery Elk
มุมมอง 22K7 ปีที่แล้ว
This was a fun elk hunt in the mean Idaho backcountry! We took horses 12 miles in to where we set up camp. To many the act of elk hunting is really an art form.. understanding elk behavior, elk communication and a bugling bulls fight or flight reactions, its not out out of the question to think of a successful elk hunter as more of an elk whisperer… bowhunting elk is one of the most addicting t...

Wyoming high country mule deer
มุมมอง 81K7 ปีที่แล้ว
I try to document all my hunts through the lens of a camera and this hunt was no exception. After spending 27 days hunting mule deer in Wyoming, I was able to capture some awesome footage. I think i will watch this film for the next 5 years and remember the 2016 season as the good ole days. NOTICE!!!.. if you want to here some behind the scenes from this hunt check out this podcast from The Ric...

Idaho mule deer "Opening Day"
มุมมอง 58K8 ปีที่แล้ว
The feeling of opening day is like none other! On this opening day in Idaho my dad and i capture an amazing mule deer hunt where my dad shoots his biggest velvet buck to date!
Bighorn Sheep hunt!
มุมมอง 20K8 ปีที่แล้ว
A friend of mine drew his sheep tag a few years back in WA. I was able to tag along and help him select a mature ram to take. I also filmed a great memory for him... this was our hunt.
High Country Bear
มุมมอง 8K8 ปีที่แล้ว
Fall bear is a great time to get out and break in those legs before the rest of hunting season gets started. thats what Darrick and I did on this trip when we hunted bears in the high country of washington!
Hopefully you guys spend more time in the range after this hunt Jesus that was tough to watch
Congratulations
The bases are awesome ! So burly !
Poor shooting!
Any new videos coming up buddy?
Maybe one day..
Cool hunt. Great job
It matters
The first is always unforgettable!!!
Would have been great to see this set of antlers after he had shed off the velvet.
That was absolutely awesome
Dang good ideas
Awesome video and congratulations on some cool bucks
Thanks for watching!
That was tough to watch. 2 bad shots and then the deer watches you while you get another arrow and finally make a semi-decent shot. Might need "work harder" given the name of your page.
Mistakes happen… I’m not trying to hide it… thanks for watching
Does the meat re-hydrate well or does it turn into “gravel” like other videos mention?
The more you break it up after dehydrating the better it will rehydrate
Absolutely breathtaking!!! I’m from Michigan but hunt elk up in the Bridgers on the Greys River and there’s no other place I’d rather be on this planet!
Watching this after getting kicked out of the less than one club this year… feeling the emotions. Inspirational video that captured the emotions of sheep hunting from a blue collar guys perspective. Thank you!
Thanks man!! And congrats!!
As another fellow hunter thank you so much those poor animals didn’t deserve suffering you did the best thing anyone could have done
Love the video, great to be along for the adventure. Thanks.
what kind of vacuum sealer do you use? Really like this idea!
Oh shoot I’ve used several... I think I have a cabelas one now... it was on sale lol
Thank you for sharing this, appreciate you guys. Question, why did you stop posting, your extremely talented sharing and telling your stories.
Life.... I have been busy just trying to get ahead a little in life... but thanks for checking out my stuff. I really appreciate it! I have MANY hunts on hard drives... I just haven’t found time to edit them... I’m hoping to get to putting out more stuff this year!( but I also said that last year 😂) . Stick with me... there will be more content in the future!
That guy did not deserve that ram one bit. I’m surprised he could hit the fucking mountain.
I want to congratulate you for your persistence and taking 3 nice deer. It is typical for people to come to this high country from elsewhere and shoot mediocre bucks. Back in the day, though still hard work, there were many more bucks of this caliber plus bigger. All the shooters have been taking out the majority of the younger class. Glad to see someone come here and do it right.
there was a lot to choose from that year... that was right before that hard winter kill... I haven't been back since.. I know guys that have and the deer numbers are still quite a bit lower compared to that year.. but yeah thanks! we try to let em grow up a little!
This is one great video you guys did the right thing makes me super proud
Really nice video, Zach. Well done.
Wonderful video. Excellent music and great photography. Keep it up!
Can't believe this is my first time watching this video. I teared up watching this and felt for those two bucks. You both are such amazing hunters/conservationists, taking these two bucks allowing them to go peacefully and not suffer any longer. Thank you for sharing this!
thanks for watching1
Great Washington sheep. I've drawn a Nevada Desert Bighorn tag this year and am watching videos to get some tips. I'm from Spokane but only hinted deer and elk, then 10 years in Idaho (hunter heaven), now Nevada.
This vidieo brought me to tears as my hunting ground have recently burned it the #CreekFire I can relate to this vidieo so much as i would have done the same. Thank you brother God Bless
Wow! great film and great hunt, bro. congrats on the sheep. Im a hunter in Belize and hunts like these are only in my dreams...
Gerald Chavannes thanks!!! Appreciate you watching!
Gerald Chavannes what do you hunt in Belize?
@@hardworkinghunter8487 Whitetail deer mostly, some game birds, javelina (tho i haven't gotten one yet), and a national delicacy, the lowland paca aka the gibnut. it's a nocturnal rodent that grows up to 25lbs and eats fruit and seeds.
What caliber?
270
You two are a gift to us all. Thank you
Check my Channel for Australian Fire Deer. For a Different Perspective . What i witnessed was bomb shocked deer and bodies everywhere.
I love the scenary, it looks beautiful. Can I ask where in Idaho this is? Thank you for sharing your experience.
try not to disclose spots online.. we will call it central idaho. thanks for watching!
Great video, great work. The scenary is amazing...whereabouts in WY is this?
western wyoming! thanks for watching!
Great video 👍🏻
That's a memory ,sweet!!!!
thanks for checking it out!
Probably a man caused fire and then a man finishes off the job.
USAMontanan actually this fire was caused by dry lightning... but thanks for watching
Love the buck with heavy mass and deep forks, truely a beautiful deer.
Austin Badertscher thanks for watching!
Nice bucks. How far were those shots?
a long ways.. i try not to post ranges to the public for people to hate on.
Gotcha. Great work. Long shots take skill. I hope to develop. Great footage.
One of the saddest yet satisfying clips I've ever seen. You could almost feel the pain those bucks were in, and I'm glad there are hunters such as yourself. Definitely have my respect and I'm sure everyone else's that watched your video. Those bucks deserved better and you were their saving grace!!
Thank you guys
Well done.
Thank you for what you guys do
It's sad! God!
El pobre ciervo lo mirava con mucha inocencia sin pensar que este asesino despiadado lo hiba a matar. El humano es el cancer de este mundo, un verdadero parasito.
the look on you’re face while you hold the bucks head reminds me of natzi Germany.
Do only good thing about that fire is that the soil is going to produce really good food for future deer. Nice vid
People think as hunters we don’t care about animals but this clearly shows how we do. Had a tear in my eye watching that poor old buck wince with every step. Thank you for putting them out of their misery 🙏🏼
