Frank Ocean – Pyramids (Pachanga Boys Sónar Reykjavík 2013 Edit Remake)
February 2013. The first edition of Sónar Reykjavík music festival. The mexican Rebolledo and german Superpitcher a.k.a. electronic music duo Pachanga Boys played a closing set of the festival in the basement of Harpa-Reykjavík's world-class concert hall that opened 2 years prior. They set my legs on fire.
During their set they played the intro of Frank Ocean's 'Pyramids' on loop for a I-don't-know-how-long and then mixed it into another song. Some people found it annoying but to me it was kind of genius. I am still thinking about it 10-years later so I had to remake it. Sit back, crack open a cold Pachanga Superior Power Elixir and enjoy 💫
