Sorry but you should have wet sanded and wiped off to remove finger handling before painting...you may have bubbling and peeling down the road.

With no prep work done on the existing paint, Im interested in how durable the new paint was.

It looks good. Just a FYI. That little T is not just a Taylor Made logo. It is in the exact spot of the center of the face so you can hit the golf ball in the center. When you looking down on the top of the club, you can't see the center of the face which is where you should be hitting the ball. The little T shows you where the face center is.

You didn't sand the original paint before you sprayed it. Your piant will start chipping within weeks. You should have went to a trade school. FYI, you never clear coat flat paint.

Did my old scuffed up Ping G30 head and it looks mint. Really easy to do on a G30 and the paint only cost £8.50 😃

A hair dryer works well to dry and bake the paint on quickly.

This looks sick! What about doing a paint splatter on a Graphite shaft? I would like to do the same thing one my driver shaft.

MB aren’t easy to hit!! You must have a decent strike. I actually enjoy Blades but as we all do, we have off days and those days are why I play PTX pro! They are forged, have great feel but have some forgiveness..

sanding chrome ? completely ruined finish . anyone who has any experience or skill in refurbishment would be appalled at this mess . lucky he did not cut his fingers to the bone too , some people should leave stuff alone untill they have some idea of what to do !!

Nice job. I do two clear coats of minwax poly and pour it in while in a vice and use super fine steel wool between clear coats. Your matt finish coat came out very nice. Good job!!

Just ordered a 60degree! Wondering if I should get another 60degree but with a different grind and bounce easier for bunkers, thoughts?

How long did it last before it started chipping? Not being an ass. I did the same thing, same process on my r1 a few years back. 2 coats of black.. 3 clear. Clear started chipping off.
