I think diet is way more important than training for building muscle
no, it's mostly sleep and diet with 5 mins of rest in between sets
Pretty much, my rule of thumb is just to rest for as long as I want until I’m ready for the next set which is usually 3-5 mins on compounds and 2-3 on isolations

I used to have the same issue bro so I know what it’s like and I spent a long time trying to eat as much as I can but not gaining weight but it all comes down to calories in calories out to gain weight so the only answer is to eat more but that’s easier said than done. Find some high calorie dense foods you can eat and snack on to add extra calories in between your meals like nuts or eggs. At 45kg you shouldn’t need to eat more than 2.5k cals to gain weight so you could even get my fitness pal which is free to help you track your cals to make sure your eating enough to gain weight

No matter what split you use you’ll build muscle but when I first started I did a push pull legs program 3x a week then progressed to an upper lower 4x a week split maybe 1 year into training then my favourite one after that I do to this day was push, pull, legs, shoulders and arms, chest and back with two rest days in between which is what I’ve built most of my muscle with

W Vid, im same as you appetite wise. Bulking feels so hard, but at the sametime, its not as hard as what it was when i started, and it is gonna become easier the more you do it. I want to add to the free tracking apps. I like Cronometer for nutrients tracking and alpha progression for training tracking, very good free apps imo

no ppl is trash. thanks to studies we now know that a greater frequency of training is clearly superior to training a muscle only once a week; so the best choice are either upper/lower 4 times a week or fullbody 3 times a week, RIR 0-2, max 8-10 set in a single session
I did talk about that study in the video and I’m not disagreeing with you but I think for a lot of beginners only training 3 times a week this is one of the best and most popular splits for a reason because it’s enjoyable and it works. If you do a 6 day ppl split your then training each muscle group twice a week but being someone who has tried upper lower and full body in my opinion ppl is the best.

@JarmaraL if your only training 3 days a week than that is decent split if you enjoy it. You could also increase the frequency you train each muscle by doing upper lower upper which could result in more muscle growth
