❤️
Years later and I still think about this performance, being young and in the audience that night. Thank you very much for recording this ❤
Just a kid... like one mind playing watching them
My soul must have known on some level that Austin wasn’t going to be here much longer. I was moved so deeply during this performance I was just bawlin’ my eyes out. This is why I prefer to go to concerts alone now haha because I feel less self-conscious to lose myself completely and allow whatever emotion that may surface to do so freely.
Talking about "Gone too soon"...smh Tragic!!
they really got somewhere
So amazing coming back here after our boy Thundercat bagged a Grammy :')
So sorry I am just hearing about Austin! Amazing flow! Lovin it!
So glad this moment was captured. RIP Austin.
The candle that burns twice as bright burns half as long!

ohhhhhhh how i loathe you thundercat. ohh, the loathing...(and fear?)
it's wonderful to see these guys chasing each other around the "Daylight" changes. Pure music.
This demanded my attention so I slowed down and listened... whispering, "hmmmmmmm yessssssss!"
i've heard that it involved drugs
I know the death is unconfirmed but what do they think killed him, if they even have an idea.

written by Douglas Marriner 24 November 2012 Austin truly was a force of nature. The scale and depth of the tributes to him already show how huge an impact he made in such a short space of time. I got to share the bandstand with him only once here in NYC, but was immediately taken aback by his musical genius, and by the huge generosity of spirit he gave to everything he did. [cont'd]
[more] ...By no means was he just a "prodigy kid", he was really THAT good, and equally as intense, wild and vibrant off-stage. Everybody who knew or played with him is crushed by the scale of this loss. I wish I could have spent more time with him. [cont'd]
