It would be great if they could but due to a lot of licensing issues it's almost a non existent chance of a fully English version coming out in the west. The best we could hope for is Konami get a MLB licence much like they have for the new MLB Spirits mobile game and bring out a MLB version on consoles and PC. Would be good competition for The Show.

@CheckedSwing it's really hard to get this all while holding your Google translate device in the hand 😂 especially as a baseball noob like me .. 😭

It was easier to copy this from the old translation website but it's still correct - Each pitch can have up to 3 attributes. The big letter on the left is the sharpness (how good the stuff is for this pitch.) The smaller letter on the right is the control. Finally for breaking balls, there is a bar that can go from zero to 6 to show how much break/movement the pitch has. The ranks go from S-G with S being the best. As for each pitch, right handed pitchers will break the ball to the left and left handed will do vice versa, so if you have a right handed select a pitch that is downleft for example, it's probably a curve ball that'll start high and then drop off left near the plate. When selecting a pitch if you see 2 choices on the same direction, R1 will cycle between them. Best thing is to go into training a try a few different pitchers to see what sort of stuff they can throw. @@iichevalier2641 nice, hope you enjoy it! I'm working on a cheer song video currently but can do a Star Player one after. There's a lot to cover in it so it may take a little longer but I can go over the basics to get you started.

Funnily enough that's the next video I'm currently working on. To create custom songs it's the top right options in the main settings, just select a blank number and edit away. For actually adding songs if you go to Team Edit and pick a team it should be the second to last option there. You can set walk up songs, at bats, chance opportunities and for specific situations. Just make sure to use the edit team to hear them. The option to add is in different places depending on if you're in something like Star Player but I'll go over all the ones I know in the video. There's also DLC packs with cheers if you have the ability to purchase them and you can also import cheers download from the internet from a USB.

@@ironfist8092 so I've just spent some time trying to export some cheers I already made to a usb stick to test it out which was a right nightmare! After getting the USB stick formatted correctly to exFat I created 2 folders in the root, one called PS5 and another PROSPI. When I exported a cheer it ended up going into the PROSPI folder but weirdly it was a PNG file, I opened that in Photoshop and it's just an image of the mascot with 2024 underneath it. So I'm guessing you'd either need to save your own cheers or have downloads in PNG format to import in the game. From doing some research online it looks like there used to be a site you could download fan made cheers but I haven't been able to find it unfortunately. Apologies it's not much help currently.

Would be great to know what screen settings work and don't. I know for other games it requires borderless mode but I'm unable to test myself. Hope it all works for you and you enjoy the game!

@CheckedSwing Works perfectly on the Steam version following the exact instructions in the video. Only had a few instances where Google Translate on my phone gave a more accurate translation, but overall its great.

That's awesome to hear! There are a lot of settings to choose between different translation engines and services but I found sticking with the default Google stuff was fine enough. Thanks for the update!

For the auto throw, I'm pretty sure you need to go to the 6th option in user settings. Then the top option allows you to change the level of assist for defense. Top is full manual control, then assisted where it'll help move you to the ball, next is auto catch which will get the ball for you but not throw and finally auto which will do everything for you. I'm working on a pitching video currently but can do one on all the other settings in the future as there's a lot of options to go through.

Also the pitch speeds at hard to make it more competitive and take off the pitch curso indicator that shows you exactly where the ball is going to land, even though the ball is still visible and shows where the ball might land its still difficult to place the barrel because of pitch movement which is fine

Sensitivity at 1-2 feels pretty good. I'm glad there's so many options to tailor the difficulty to whatever level you feel comfortable with. Hope you've been enjoying the game!

@@CheckedSwing Yes! Is awesome 👏🏼, did you know you can tap or pick up the rosin bag in between pitches, and also basically over throw any pitch you want for more velocity but control decreases which is real to life and stamina as well. There’s like 8 different shifts and no pausing the game for adjustments infield, each switch moves the 3Basemen in/out at different distances. One more cool thing, you can throw the ball into the crowd if the final out is made in the outfield, by holding triangle/circle at the same time.

I didn't know you could throw the ball into the crowd on purpose on the last out, that's amazing! Most stuff I'm pretty up to date on as a lot of it is the same as the 2019 and 2021 versions so thankfully it hasn't been too much of challenge working things out but it's great to see someone so knowledgeable about the game giving some great advice in the comments, is much appreciated!

@ Yes! So much little details in this game.

There's 3 ways - 1. Get a physical PS5 version from Japan from somewhere like Amazon, Play Asia or other online stores. 2. Create a Japanese PSN account and purchase it from the PS store using credit (unless you have a Japanese credit card). There are sites that you can buy the credit from that email you the code with 24 hours. 3. For Steam, use a VPN and create a Japanese Steam account and make sure the region is set there too. I've read you may have to purchase is through the browser rather than the client itself but I can't say for certain as I only have the PS5 version. Hopefully this helps, if not then there's some topics on Reddit and the Steam forums that have a more detailed explanation.

​@@CheckedSwing I bought through the client but a very important part is you have to buy steam cards that are yen. It was easy to do if you google where to buy. I bought and was sent the gift card codes through email within a few hours. I also saw you can get the game cheaper if you do the VPN through Indonesia but I went the Japan Yen route.
