I read his biography, FOUL!, in 1972. Unlike Wilt, he hated his years playing with the Harlem Globetrotters and his years with Phoenix, which meant sharing the ball with Gail Goodrich. I always thought he was more adapted for the free-wheeling playground play than the structured NBA.
