I can see that you’ve never lived in Costa Rica! The cost of living there is only low if you give up a lot. It’s a beautiful country, but not cheap, mostly because of very high import duties. For many things, the cost in CR will be much higher than in North America. Would you lime to buy a car? It will cost twice as much in CR. I think the cost of living there is comparable to the US or Canada.

It's a nonsense to retire in any of those countries close to the Middle East, they share some of the same genes of chaos and constantly state of war. It's dangerous to retire to any of those places.

It would be a great place to visit if our mayor and city council would clean up the streets and help bring the homeless population down. And accountable for broken down homes in vacant buildings that need to be cleaned up. And clean up the trash on the highways where people travel from state to state that might think Fort Smith might be a place to visit if they didn’t see the highway leading into Fort Smith so nasty. I live in Fort Smith and I wish you would be a lot cleaner and nicer. Maybe we could bring bigger businesses into this town if they felt like we could bring money in this area. Like Bentonville and Fayetteville due.
