Akumal Beach will never be the same! The locals that work there are very rude, and they harass you if you don’t pay to go see the turtles they’re trying to own the beach which in Mexico is public same with the water it’s public meaning you shouldn’t pay for something that’s free! Believe me they have guys in kayaks, and if they see that you are not paying to go see the turtles, they will harass you. It’s sad because I used to go out there and look at turtles all day long now you can’t. Also get ready for nickel and diming me everywhere!

Went to Costa Maya in November 2024. We explored just the cruise port. I would never go there again. There were quite a few skin care shops where their employees were aggressively pushy to try or buy their products it made it extremely unpleasant. They would stand outside insisting you take one of their skincare samples. If you take it they try to convince you to go into their store where they deceptively try to get you to try more products and I understand that if you try it they will then make you pay for it when they make it sound free. When we refused the lady started shouting at us "Don't you care, Don't you care?" she was referring to don't you care about our skin not to be interested in their products. This was not just at one store it was all the skin shops.. It was really awful. They bullied people to try to get them to buy.. Then we walked by the area where the flamingoes are. I felt so sorry for them. One looked very sick. And they have them in a very small man made concrete pool, no food in the water all day. Very unnatural. If they open their wings you can see their wings are clipped so they cant leave the area. They did not act normal. These birds are not being treated well. We had wanted to go to the aviary but seeing the flamingo's completely put us off from going. I'm sorry this is not a good review. but the experience was awful. If we went on another cruise and it stopped there we would stay onboard.

There is a big problem with placing Bulgaria in 3... Try going to the hospital... Like its neighbor Romania, the hospital conditions are.... "original"... The winter is also terrible. And the summer is very hot, without any particular advantages unlike in Asian countries. Consider how many years you might be health and mobile for ( 10-15)then how many you might require assistance. What then? There’s 120 more in-depth questions before one considers the cost of an apartment by the beach. That being said, one has to start somewhere and videos like this are a good start.

The best place to retire is the UK, especially if you lose your passport on arrival. You'll get free housing, food vouchers, benifits, healthcare and you can start your own expat community wherever you like. You'll be exempt from UK laws as you keep your mouth shut. Many poor people from all over the world settle there, as it's a much better life than the jungle...

I would love to move to NorthEast India, closest major city is Kolkata(Calcutta).Very cheap to live here, $1.00 goes a long way in this country, being American I can live in India like a queen.
