Cracker Jack is a 2015, 12.2h welsh x gelding. He has great manners, has show experience, and has been a great pony for our kids to learn on. He can be a little spunky with a couple weeks off but is good to go after a lunge and he is great when in a consistent program. He is great for our kids to handle by themselves and groom and bathe for hours.

Our kids pony, Cracker Jack ridden by our daughter, Ezria

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree with Ezria. She has the riding genes in her blood on top and bottom! Ezria is 1 of our 3 kids and a twin to our boy, Blaze and so far the only one really interested in riding. Blaze and Ezmae also ride but they didn't quite get the horse bug :-) www.ParadigmDressage.com Loxahatchee, Florida based Dressage training, lessons and boarding facility.

www.ParadigmDressage.com In this lesson the rider works on turning corners without bulging out the corner, the rider is more dominant on one side so she tends to twist her body which causes the horse to either cut corners, or bulge out of corners. Leif talks about Rebars and how to think of your upper body as a box, a right side front and back and a left side front ant back. The rider also work...

I feel that she is not thinking forward and thus she is not straight as well. I wish to see more forward, active and thinking forward at all times, even in walk
The changes made such a huge difference in how your horse moved forward. Amazing. Thank you 😊
Her progress from the beginning to the end was amazing! So excited to enhancing this more in my lessons!
Trying to best understand the “bear down” comments more fully…I know it may be obvious to everyone else but I’m not quite gettin’ it!!
Love this duo!
So graceful and elegant. Thank you
Great instructions 👍👍👍‼️
Lovely to see you ride a really green horse, awesome job and heartening to see things worked on by such a talented rider. Sometimes I think we can feel it’s us doing something wrong rather than repeat in the same way so the horse can find it. I love your videos, they’re so helpful ❤
This was really helpful.
I really enjoyed this video. I have similar issues to this rider. Going to rewatch it again now
I am first student to do the post trot can you give me idea to take away my afraid.
I have the oppesite issue 😹 80 20 I think I have 95 and 5 in the stirrups if I sit 😂❤
Love , love, love your teaching 🙏🐴❤️
Leif, I love your lessons, you’re so knowledgeable about the rider’s responsibilities to control themselves and the influence that has and allows you to have on the horse you’re riding. I wish there was an instructor near me who could help me with this. Your an absolutely brilliant rider too, an absolute joy to watch ❤
Awesome lesson! And the pupil is buzzing 🎉 love it, I love teaching ❤
Excellent way of explaining how the force of pushing down results in something pushing up against it.. I am just relearning a correct seat position after thinking I was sitting right… having the correct teacher explain it like this makes all the difference. When I learnt it was the heels down sit up straight which is the exact opposite of what you should do. 🤦🏼♀️ love this video !!
This is an exceptional video. Not concentrating on the horse but the rider. The analogies make it easy to understand. Really enjoyed watching it and was bearing down for the rider😂😂. Thanks for sharing
What breed is this horse?
This horse is robot? That not move very much. A real horse wag his tail or his ears
@@pisleaggeorge5461 haha, that’s hilarious, I just rewatched the beginning, she absolutely looks like a robot or a statue. She is definitely a real horse 🙃 although she did pass away the end of 2022. She was never known for showing much affection or expression, even when she was a 2 year old, which isn’t normal for the Friesian breed, but she had her own unique personality. She was many riders first horse to canter on, including my kids. We miss having her with us!
lol, horses do what now 😂😂
Please do more videos like this 😊😊😊
This is brilliant.I love watching your training❤
Are these your horses or the students’ horses? So gorgeous beauties every one. ❤
@@donnacarey7856 this one is a clients horse. Some of the other videos are ours.
@@paradigmdressage Thank you for answering. I’m learning all over again at 68.
How do I do a half halt???
This is beautiful teaching..❤
Absolutely awesome 🐴🏇🐴❤️
OMGoodness! What a teacher❤❤❤
A beauty! Also love the instructional videos: have learned so much !
Très beau Chaval!
Lovely lesson to watch and great training❤
Hehe he’s so cute and speedy
I would love to take a lesson with you...
What a HUGH difference!!! Lovely mare!♥️
Rollkur riding. This is extremely horrible. Un everything the opposite of what Classical Dressage should be. Ban this disastrous sport
Such a beautiful angel of a mare
This horse is well trained. So careful with her. You are such a good trainer😊
I wonder if it would be advantageous to ask the rider to open and close the elbow hinge more? Leave the hands behind…
before facing this step i would be much more concerned about the curling. maybe she can learn while being on lounge. feel sorry for the horse, sorry
When you bear down, do you sustain that abdominal feeling with costant pressure or do you bear down and release on every step?
What do you mean when you say to bear down?
Thank you! This was great!
what a super genuine horse. What an amazing opportunity, to learn from a horse like that.
This is very good. I struggle with some of my horses with extended trot, others go naturally. The advice here is pretty good. My 2 GP do more or less extended trot and ñaradoxically my two PSG do better ones. I still need to develop this exerckse more.
Whoa, this is too good to be free! Excellent coaching, excellent information. I appreciate you putting this out here! ❤
Thanks a lot one of the best coaches on the net. Simple and effective
Stunning video and very well explained to understand movement of horse and rider thank you
Hola donde impartes clinic soy de españa y me gustaria asistir a una master class tuya un saludo
Schade , dass man die Trabverstärkungen nicht direkt von der Seite hat sehen können. 🚀
Super imformative especially on the trot work slowing down and increasing what to do with body , reins . The canter work ….could you please explain what the body needs to do to slow down and increase the canter. Is the bungy cord still being used ? I just need clarification on the role of the body . Thankyou I absolutely love your teaching videos I’ve learnt so much. Linda Clark
