Beautiful. Through a print lut or graded manually ?
Is it possible to cut the corners/borders? With an aspect as a regular film?
Hi how did frame the edge of the video like that? Looks nice
This is some of the most stunning 16mm footage I’ve ever seen. Great job man.
Que lindo todo
EXCELLENT.
The cinematography is beautiful ❤️
Cute. Gory, but cute 😄
That was fun! Loved the look and the ending. I will definitely be adding it to my write-ups in the Fall.
This is very sharp, low-noise, and has none of the characteristic scratch marks that most Super 8 footage has. Any special tips? Did you do a lot of post processing? Is your 514XL just extremely good?
2:44 NOOOOO THE POOR DADDD 😭😭😭
Well put together, but very weak script. Pray tell, how did Dad know where they were going? All that nonsense just to set up a mediocre twist ending.
So camp! Love! 💕
This felt like it could have been an episode of Tales from the Dark Side. Very cool short!
Delightful!! What fun. Thanks for sharing. Ax
This convinced me to buy the Canon514xl, gorgeous video.
Well done but story makes not much sense to me. Are they just killers or they do it out of revenge?
Was this filmed in my teen bedroom?! Love it! 💜🤗
I knew it was the dad
Omg I MISS the 80's!!!!!
Outstanding footage. I don't care how much you post-process 4/6k video, it never looks as "real" as good old 16mm film.
I didn't expect the father to be the killer at all
Freaking nice 😂😢😮
So why did she scream if she knew her dad was on a killing spree for a long time in the first place
Film is a literal time machine. These shots look 50 years old, but in a good way!
I recently bought a KG3 from Russia. Our film is expensive. But we're holding up.
This was amazing 👏
I don't like the guy who came to pick her up
Awe, I felt bad for the dorky dad, he went to get a camera and they left
Ok, lol…Nevermind! After watching it lol!
Her hair was definitely not 80’s…..but good movie…
Excellent twist
One of my favorite channels, you deserve way more views haha
this looks great super cool!
First i thought it was another Jason rip off scene.....until the mask came off! Thumbs up!!!! Siskel & Ebert would approve!
😲 Such s great dad looking after his little girl 😂😂, good horror short.
It would look better in HD - resolution, grain and motion portrayal, everything. Film is overrated.
vraiment sympa la fin
Oh how I love watching something new that makes me feel nostalgic at the same time! 👏👏👏👍👍
The alps already look like a dream land. 16mm makes it look all the more beautiful!
Reminds me of my youth in 80s Los Angeles ❤
Beautiful
Really dope footage! Thx for sharing and for the musically reminder (had Mark Dee on my list to check).
Makes you REALLY wonder just how awesome the16mm footage in The Beatles 'GET BACK' COULD'VE looked, instead of the DNR freak show that Ring Lord ultimately presented us with. Yes I still have a chip on my shoulder about that LOL. LOVE your channel !!!!
Oh my GOD. If I didn't know better, I would think this actually *was* made in the 80s. You NAILED it. The title kind of gives away the first twist if you think about it, but I definitely didn't see the second one coming. And I laughed out loud at "we didn't get one before." This was great.
Damn your 514 is exposing excellently. Great job.
Vision 3 was made for LA sunsets
awesome
Wow amazing look ¡
Is the stock this saturated out of the can or has it been graded this way?
The saturation we see here is what the stock does look like. It may be a matter of taste, but I feel the contrast (or black level) is very, very slightly overdone in the grading here, where personally, I would've allowed for a little more transparency. But it certainly looks a lot better than entirely ungraded.
@@tlatosmd7074 what do you mean by "transparency" ?
@@Oceansta A bit more transparent black levels, not as pitch black.
Beautiful hues 🥹
